A Trip Down Memory Lane
Who else remembers doing this as a kid? I was super excited when my daughter decided to spend her tooth fairy money on these. It was a fun trip down memory lane and it was nice to see her playing with these like I did when I was a kid. These work just like they did back in the day. You drop them into a cup of hot water hot or warm water, wait for the capsules to dissolve and watch them unfold into the animal shapes.Lots of fun and entertainment.

Fun!
These were fun and something different!! My kids are 6 and 3 they played safely with them while supervised in the tub. I would not allow my 3 year old to play with these unsupervised because they are tiny, lightweight sponges that would definitely be dangerous if they went in a mouth. They need to be removed from the tub b4 drained because they will go down.I’m going to purchase again but instead of a bath toy I’m going to use them as a water table activity.Easy, Fun, Worth It!

Good for a small gift for kids
I bought these capsules this past Christmas when I was looking for gifts that were small enough for my toddler (he was 17 months old in December) to fit in his advent calendar, but not tiny little toys that he could either choke on or would end up getting stepped on by adults in our living room. I had put a poll on my Instagram of what I should get for him because I was really struggling to fill up 24 squares of gifts for a child this young (if I had my way, it literally would just have been berries or something but we have this beautiful wooden advent calendar that unfortunately fits almost nothing). Someone suggested these so I went for it as it seemed an easy and inexpensive way to fill the thing up. I cut up the package and split them up into groups of two throughout the calendar (what, did you think I was able to come up with TWENTY FOUR unique gifts for each day of December?!). He obviously didn't get what they were at first, but we used them at bathtime. While he loved the sponges once they inflated, the only criticism I have of this product is that the capsules take an awfully long time to open when they are submerged in water. Maybe it's not that long if you have older kids that you can use these to teach them the virtue of patience, but for a toddler who barely understands the ways of the world, he just kept picking them out of the tub, therefore lengthening the process in which they opened up. Once they reached their full metamorphosis, he did enjoying play with them in the tub, so for the value of this item, I'm going to say it's a win.

As expected but disappointed
Product as expected for price and product in general. Disappointed with time it takes for sponges to “grow” from the capsule and sponge quality once fully expanded. 3 year old usually destroys the shape (boat, plane etc) fairly quickly once magic is complete. One time use as a bath toy.

Kids Toy
Bought this for my son's birthday and he loved watching the capsules becomes animals. Very easy to do and clean up when done. Will buy again for use in future activities for small kids that come over to play. Quality product that does what it is designed to do.

Not Animals as advertised...just bugs
I bought these as a prop for our Elf on the Shelf for our daughter. The plan was to put them out with water and a sign that read "what to grow some friends with me". They are advertised as "water growing animals" and they are just bugs. My girly daughter will not find that cute. Waste of money. Not as advertised.

A bathtime hit
Although a simple toy, they are a hit with my toddler at bathtime. He loves to watch the small foam animal pop out of the capsule in the warm bathwater. Now that he has used the majority of them, he continues to play with the foam dinosaurs and will line them up all around the bathtub. A very simple yet effective toy for entertainment at bathtime. For the price these can't be beat.

Nostalgic favorite was also loved by my kiddo
Used as a stocking stuffer for a six year old. Her mind was blown like ours were in the 90s. It did exactly what I wanted with it.
