Great light for the quality
I have been using this light for over a month now . I have been able to grow a good healthy carpet of Monte Carlo , and seven medium category plants (AR mini , pinnatifida , etc)The plants won’t show vibrant reds though as this is not an RGB light. Go for it , if you are ok with thisI also have the ADS 400 which I purchased for twice the price and frankly can’t see any difference in growth between the two tanks . The ADS 400 does look more natural to the eye though

Nice for 45 centimetres to 60 centimetres tank plants and tank looking good you have carpet plant it's very good make sure it's high heat generated on this light 4 to 5 hrs a day and all are good..

Nice light for a Planted tank
I found this Sunsun ADE 400 light perfect for my 2 feet Natural Planted tank. Plants are growing. I run the light for 8 hrs, 4 On, 6 hrs off and 4 On with a timer. For high tech planted tanks with Co2 etc, the ADS 400 may give brighter light. But I don't need it.
