Delicious
This stuff is the best powdered goat milk I have ever had! It dissolves so well I barely even need to stir it into my coffee. It has a really nice, creamy texture and mildly sweet taste. GREEN GOAT, don't ever change!

Great addition to have on the go and at home, I use it mostly in my coffee
I like it in general, but it has very strong taste in a way compared to another brand. I am using usually 1 scoop of the powder per each coffee mug and it works for me. I started mixing it at first with organic cow's milk to get used to it, and now I use it on the go as substitute of milk or at home, whenever I feel that I am more sensitive to lactose in products I am eating/drinking.Lactose intolerance/sensitivity is not a typical constant issue, it comes and goes and no one really knows why. In my case, it fluctuates few weeks on and off. This milk helps me to avoid a lot of digestive issues that i had before if i used cow's milk.

Very very goaty tasting
All goat milk, powdered or fresh, has a musky goaty taste to it.If you drink it you know what I am talking about.I normally like or at least tolerate that taste. In fresh goat milk I love it.In Meyenbergs powdered goat milk, the brand I had always bought previously to this brand, I tolerate it.Something about the nature of that musky goat taste in the powdered Meyenbergs milk is less pleasant than it is in the fresh milk.If you drink both you know what I am talking about. Now times that difference by at least two for this goat milk powder. It is extremely musky/goaty tasting and it made me smell like a goat when I drank it.All goat milk is going to make you smell a little goaty when you drink it but I had never had the effect be as strong as it was with this powdered goat milk.It doesn’t taste bad, it is just very pungent tasting, and very pungent smelling when you sweat it out.Maybe I am just used to the less pungent taste of Meyenberg but as someone who likes the taste of fresh goat milk the best I like the taste of this powdered goat milk the least and I suspect other people may feel the same way.I had always bought Meyenbergs powdered milk so I wanted to try a different brand. All of the other brands are more expensive but of those other brands this one was the cheapest.I will be going back to the meyenberg brand after this for regular purchasing but in the future I might try some of the more expensive brands like MtCapra or the one from New Zealand. They cost so much more though they would have to be much better tasting than the meyenberg brand for me to switch.I would encourage you to try this brand if you are curious. It isn’t awful, just much too goaty for my taste. If you don’t like it and you have pets you could always just feed it to them, which might be what happens with the rest of my bag.Maybe the very goaty taste is indicative of it being high in nutrients? If so my pets will benefit from it that much more if not me.I am going to give it a few more tries to see if the taste can grow on me.By the way this brand dissolved into hot coffee just about as easily or not easily as the Meyenberg brand does. They both have a tendency to clump but will eventuallly completely dissolve after some vigorous stirring.

type of thickener matters
When I first started making yogurt from my dairy goat milk I didn't realize I couldn't just grab the powdered cow milk in the cupboard to use as a thickener. I had never seen or known there was powdered goat milk! until I went looking for it. Green Goat milk worked like a charm. It thickens the normally thinner yogurt texture and doesn't leave an aftertaste. Although a bit pricy, it is worth it. And I have already made a second purchase. Making lots of yogurt!!!!

Do not buy. Product has rancid taste.
Do not buy this product. I made a cup of milk using this product and could not drink it. It has a rancid, spoiled smell and taste. I purchased two packages. After I saw that they couldn't be returned, I opened the second package. That one was spoiled too. It doesn't even deserve the one star. Amazon, you need to pull this product.

Great flavor, mixes well, perfect baby formula and adult beverage!
This goat milk is so smooth and easy to mix- I have tried many for me and my kids! It has no "goaty" flavor and I love that it is fortified with folic acid. Order and delivery is also very smooth. Thanks!

Great taste could dissolve better
My daughter loves this.I just wish it was in a bag that resealed better or in a canister. Also you really need to dissolve in very hot water which is annoying bc my daughter doesnt want her milk so hot.

Very strong smell, taste - and I like goat's milk!
As background, I have been drinking goat's milk from a local farm, and using goat's milk powder in my coffee, for a couple of years. I never understood when people complained about a "goaty" taste, except maybe in local goat's cheese (which I also liked, but which did have a noticeable taste). The Green Goat powder, however, has a very strong smell right out of the package, and a very strong taste in coffee that I found unpleasant. I wanted to love this stuff, as it checks all the right boxes (goat, non-GMO, more "local" than the stuff from Europe, organic, etc.), but I can't in its current form. Maybe I just need to get used to it. I will finish what I bought and update this review accordingly. On the plus side, it dissolves beautifully in coffee, no clumping whatsoever, no stirring needed. I would suggest for anyone buying this to buy only a single package to try, initially, and see if you like the taste. I'm so used to goat's milk that I bought two up front.
