I kept hearing about the dreaded fuse 27 leaving people stranded. I decided to check my fuse box and removed my fuse 27 and low and behold it was showing signs of slight melting. Ordered this and installed in about 30 min. Instructions were pretty straight foward and went smoothly. Highly recommend for cheap insurance. The Instructions state its for 2010-2014 but this worked on my 09. You need this if you have a 09-14 f150.

Easy to install. Instructions were clear, easy to follow, and to the point. Just one thing, YOU WILL NEED A SOLDERING GUN. Would still highly recommend this for the dreaded fuel pump fuse problem!

Installed on a 2014 F-150 Fx2 , 3.5L Eco Boost . I had fuse 27 (fuel pump) burn out on me once . I bought the truck used with 143,000 + miles on it . Fuse burned out after about 4 months of having the vehicle. Do your self the favor and install this replacement kit . The MotorCraft Fuse Relocation Kit came with everything as advertised in OEM packaging . Installation went smooth with no problems . Follow the instructions as outlined . Taking short cuts is no time saver . This is easily a DIY project with the right tools . Instructions did not say that you will also need a 10mm socket . This is to remove power cables from the power distribution box (PDB). An extra set of hands could be helpful unclipping the PDB .

Worked as expected. The kit is what’s needed to relocate the pump relay fuse from #27 to #70. The toughest part of this fix is getting #27 correct blue with red stripe wire as there are two blue with red stripe wires in that area. The correct wire is the thick wire and snipping it off with about an inch tail from the #27 location leaves enough wire to put the included shrink tubing on the wire. When soldering the included black wire onto the blue w/red stripe wire you’ll want to make sure your soldering iron is up to full temperature before putting the solder onto the wrapped wires. Doing this will insure that the solder flows through the twisted wires.

Instructions were jumbled up. Get them straightened out and number them correctly and they were sufficient. Didn’t really use the kit but did it myself with , I think , better and easier alternatives. It will fix your problem though.

After reading about a potential problem with stock blade fuse, did some research and figured i better do this before mine melts. My stock was fine but i did this and it worked out great. If you know some electrical and look at some you tube videos on how to do it, its not that difficult. I did remove the fuse box bracket to make it easier to turn the box over as in one of the videos, worked great..

There's not much to this but everything needed was there. Good instructions , good quality.
