worked great !!
these connectors are exactly as advertised !! i used outdoor CAT6 solid copper cable with an outside jacket diameter of about 6.2mm , the connector had enough room for the jacket to enter and be crimped .. the holes in the connectors are staggered for the CAD6 23aug wire and install was nice !!! this was my first time making ethernet cables and i am glad i chose Platinum Connectors !!! i used the Klein tools pass through crimper with these and it worked like a charm !!

Easy to use with the right tools, a few heads missing all contact points
I ended up wireing an entire house and used these all over the place for the custom length cables I was making. These were perfect, easy to use and made terminating cables much easier with the pass through of the cables before crimping. A few (out of 50 maybe 3) were missing the connectors but I figured that was pretty common and the rest worked perfectly no problems.

Get the large size connectors, which these are, for cat6.
Works well. Even for outdoor shielded cat6. Fit is tight, but shielded cat6 is a large cable. Mine has 23 gauge wire. Just have to be careful to align wires well and connects work great. Obviously they don’t provide proper grounding but for my application worked just fine.

Although very snug fit, work with 23 AWG Cat 6 wires
Using pass-through connectors is new to me, so more experience should improve my technique productivity. The 23 AWG wires must be very straight to feed into the very snug holes and so far I am reduced to feeding wires one or two at a time to prevent buckling, taking more time than I feel it should. I have no comparison with competitive products, but know that many other brand pass-through connectors will not take 23 gauge. The connectors themselves look good and the finished connection works well. I am using a Klein crimper.

The absolute Best RJ45 Connectors out there.
This is the perfect product for the Cat6 cables with the large 23awg wire. I have spent hours with other CAT6 connectors and ended up throwing them across the room in a rage. With these, I was shocked with how easy the wires would find their correct location and remain there as the others joined them in the line-up. I really question the bad reviews for I have used over 20 makes and sizes of RJ45 connectors and there is not a one that is in the same league with these. They are well worth the cost for they have saved me hours of frustration and torment compared to the other connectors out there.

easy to install
I tried other cat6 ends, but they were cat5, cat6 ends. The end where the wires goes thru must be staggered to be a true cat6 end. If you look at the end the holes are not straight across. These are some of the only ones that I found that are staggered. They cost a lot more, but are definitely worth it.

80% failure rate
I don't know how something like this fails so often. I'm guessing that the contacts had to much lateral play ans failed to make contact with the wires, or the poorly designed internal wire guides and cable securing tab caused wires to pinch and fail, or these truly aren't compatible with cat6 or cat6a. Whatever the reason, cables would fail testing most(80%) of the time. Why do i think its the connectors and not the wire or installer error? Well, its only 8 wires, so pretty hard to mess that up, and as soon as I switched to (purchased) new connectors from a well known and reputable brand (klein), I have yet to have a cable failure. Do yourself a favor and buy the name brand connectors.

These WORK for 23AWG !
Unlike other connectors (I bought some) that "say" they work on 23AWG (they don't), THESE actually do.Granted it is a snug fit, but they work (and I am no expert on cable termination).I will buy more of these when needed, good product.

Pass through RJ connectors are great!
I haven’t crimped many Ethernet wires in my days (luckily) and thought about these instead. They work great! Slip the wires through, recheck the orientation.. and crimp away. Flawless !

Simple, rapide et fiable!
Super content d'avoir trouvé ces connecteurs, dire que je m'embêtais avec des non passants longs à sertir, non fiables qu'il fallait parfois refaire!
