Raku Kiln
I used this as a burner for a Raku Kiln I made. Works great I got it up to 1900F which was the highest I needed. I believe it could have gone higher. The fuel are mix is really easy to adjust. I may add a spark lighting mech to it, but I used a blow torch and that was fine. You get as much control as you could with a Venturi burner with using the regulator. I am quite happy with it. I could have built it myself but after shopping, manufacturing time, and material costs this was well worth paying for it already done! If I build a bigger Kiln I will buy another!

Works great with a bit of air experimentation in my small forge
The burner is slightly larger than 1 1/4 so it took a little massaging to get it into the firebrick, but fortunately the firebrick crumbles easily and as a result probably made a better seal. Starting with the air intake completely close and then opening the air to adjust I found I was easily able to get a nice forge flame with 10 psi and air intakes completely open.

Works well
Works great in the little homemade forge my son has. It gets more than hot enough to work steel. Easy to use and has been reliable the half dozen times we've used it so far

More than happy.
Excellent quality, and works better than I epected in the little forge I put it in. From firing it up to forging a blade takes only a couple minutes, to reach forging temps.

Not ideal.
Works okay, the end was not sealed properly and leaks gas, had to get propane tape to fix it. Not ideal for 100 dollars.

Pretty good but could be a little better
First let me state this is a very simple design that works very well, so you might be tempted to think you could build your own from plumbing parts and save some money. However after pricing everything out you're still going to spend the 100 bucks. That's because it main essentially from three pieces of stainless tube pipe the folks making this can buy by the truck load and get a good discount and they clearly have professional equipment. However I did make a couple of minor modifications. I replaced the set screw on the air regulator with a thumb screw - much easier to use, and I removed the 90 degree flare elbow and replaced it with a 1/4" shut off valve using a 1/4" brass pipe nipple. I then attached a 45 degree flare to the valve. This puts an easy to reach fast operating shut off valve right behind the torch itself instead of having to crank the regulator or tank valve down. I'm sure this voided the warranty, but it works great. I also use my own regulator which can go up to 50 psi instead of the 30 psi the one that comes with the torch can reach. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. On the upside, delivery was fast, it was well packaged, is exactly as advertised and does work pretty good right out of the box. All I did is tweak it a tad to bring out its full potential.

Hot little burner
This burner is great!!! I built a forge out of a 20 pound LP tank lined with ceramic wool and this things takes no time heating it up. Within 5 minutea or less its glowing red. Cold lawnmower blade was red hot under 3 minutes.

Can be difficult to tune.
The brass nozzle is pretty much just a mig tip, and the one I received was misaligned. Tuning the air-to-fuel ratio can be a bit time-consuming in this situation.
