Does the replacement spigot come with instructions?

Mine did not come with instructions. I just found them by searching the web because I was a little bit confused if I used all the parts or if they send extras. Thank you to the person above who answered the question for me because it was quite difficult to find instructions for this exact model.

What material is the gasket made of?

It has a soft, silicone gasket.

Can you put this in say a watermelon that has been hollowed nad filled w/ bev?

It will work perfectly. You will need a fine mesh screen to keep the watermelon seeds from entering the spout and blocking the flow, some blocking to keep the watermelon from tilting, and some trustworthy buddies to keep the guy no one invited from wearing it on their head with the spout open and prevent his/him/their/them/they/el jefe’s tongue out to catch the flow.
