Adjustable and sturdy and fun!
The media could not be loaded. Oh my goodness both my kids LOVE these! They are adjustable so will fit for more than a year! We figured out finally how to adjust; there’s a button on the exterior of the skate and the entire (back? Front? I can’t remember but it works) half can be shifted forwards or backwards if need be. Sturdy. Easy to take on and off. Kids quickly gained confidence and proficiency on these. Great value. We’ve now gone inline skating as a family many times. Get these!

Quality skates for kids and adults with small feet
I'm a petite woman who wears kids shoes. I wanted to get back into skating, something I haven't done since childhood, for fitness and a fun alternative to running and cycling. I did a lot of research to find kids skates that are up to par with their adult counterparts in terms of quality, durability, and comfort. These skates fit the bill - they have the look and feel of adult skates, and come in relatively simple, no-nonsense color schemes. The best part about these skates is they are cometely customizable in terms of fit: the boot size and the 2 ankle straps can be adjusted until they're just right. I bought mediums, which adjust from size 1-5. The adjustment mechanism was a pretty simply to figure out, just push then grey button while pulling or pushing the front part of the boot. I typically wear a kids 2.5 is shoes, and was most comfortable in size 3. It's nice to know that if my feet every magically grow, these will still fit me!Despite not skating for years, these feel relatively easy to use. I felt stable standing and moving (carefully) in them within minutes of putting them on. Can't wait to try them outdoors. Will update this review in the future!

Good starter skate, adjustable, removable brake
Preface, in my youth I skated aggressively, the skates that allow grinding and going up and down bowls, half pipes, and off kicker ramps. In the early 2000s k2 was well known for aggressive skates (see above). While they’ve almost completely ditched the aggressive skating scene they do make quality skates for kids. I bough two pairs of these for my kids, and one my kids nearly won’t take them off so… +1 for comfort. They’re adjustable and will last awhile since k2 has been making skates for decades. One of the 1star reviews above states the straps were all torn up after first use. Yes, these are starter skates and if your kiddo falls the wrong way on them they will rip up the straps. As for mine the straps have survived several months of falling and are still in good condition. If your kids are taking interest in jumping off ramps, over small grass medians or just general high speed technical tricks then these skates are not for them. Soft boots (which these are) allow far too much movement of the foot inside the skate for excellent stability. In the rare case your kiddo is going to the skate park or interested in doing tricks / jumps then get them a hard boot (k2 does not sell hard boots anymore with the exception of one boot).Summary, great first learning skate for kids, adjustable to size up with them. Comfortable, stable enough for a young learner. These are meant for the casual skater / learner. Removable brake is a big plus for those kids learning to slow / stop without them. My oldest (younger than 10) doesn’t need the brake anymore.

Great Quality and very stylish
Best kids inline skates. I bought these for my son and they are very good quality. My daughter had a pair of roller derby inline skates and the padding was very thin, the plastic outer layer would cut into her legs and I didn't know (she doesn't complain) she had been wearing them more frequently this year and has scars on her legs from them. I recently bought her a pair of the K2 from another site. Great ankle control, thick padding and the padding stays higher than the outer plastic layer. Very pleased with my purchase of both sets of K2. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for skates for their children.

Quality skates for youth.
I have had K2 skates for over 20 years and they are my favorite brand. Now that I have children, they need quality skates as well. These youth skates are every bit as good as my adult K2's. I love that they don't skimp on quality for kids. As a side note, my son has wide feet and these are comfortable and not restrictive.

12 yr old approved, easy to adjust
“I love this product because I was able to do so much with it. At first it was hard to find just the right amount of tightness, but that hasn’t stopped me from really liking them. I’ve crashed a couple of times but they haven’t broken or anything- just little scratches-they’re strong”^^from my 12 year old who got them for his birthdayI was impressed that he was able to adjust the size by himself- I expected him to ask for help but he didn’t need it. I also like that they don’t LOOK like adjustable skates but allow for growing room.

Awesome skates
It's easy to adjust the length on these skates, to fit a variety of kids. My 6 year old is currently wearing them, but 4 year old brother can also use them. They are smooth, high quality skates, not the sticky trash that sometimes masquerades as skates in the kids' section.Despite fairly rough use, I haven't noticed any issues.

8yr olds favorite!
My 8 yr old got these for Christmas and it is now his go to ride whenever playing with friends and brothers outside. I have to tell him no skating in the house he loves them so much. I would say these are comfortable since he doesn't complain like he did with his last knock off brand skates. And they are much faster plastic wheels and bearings than his last pair.

Excellent
Excellent quality and price as 8 k2 wheels will cost 70 dollars and I add 10 more dollars to get a new pair of rollers. Excellent service with return a postage label in the package. Most importantly, my son love you them and fly with them.
