California Branch 3 Field Representative
I highly recommend buying and studying Termite Terry’s training manual to pass California's branch 3 field representative on your first attempt. Now, I will be purchasing Terry’s branch 1 training manual to get that knocked out on the first attempt. Good stuff!!

Passed the exam after reading this book
This is a great resource for the exam. This book and quizlet was all I studied for the California Field Representative Branch III exam.Note: Not everything on the exam will be covered in this book but it's good enough to get 70% or more. Other books have too much reading and unnecessary information. What I liked about this text was it was condensed/summarized and got to the important information. Other questions not covered simply required common sense and other resources. Remember information about product labels for pesticides, carpenter bees and ants. Information about termites and treatment was easy to memorize.

Only Book Out There for Branch 3 FR Exam and it's a Good One
I took my exam after readying and studying this book 3 times. I made sure I understood the questions and why they were important for me to know them. Termite Terry did an excellent job condensing all the important points into one book...i would have failed for sure if I didn't have this book; this book is worth every penny. Some of the questions on the exam will appear exactly, word for word, as they are in this book. I also did extra searching online which also appeared on the exam such as roofing types, roofing framing, different types of foundations...etc. DO NOT RELY ON THE PRACTICE EXAMS IN THIS BOOK COMPLETELY...you will find a lot of the information in this book will not even show up but they are good to know - Good Luck to you!

Best study materials on the market
Best investment for making sure you pass that exam first attempt.... very thorough chapters with a practice test at the conclusion to help you retain what you are reading.... I have 10+ years in the industry doing branch 2, now I'll be starting a new chapter of my career as a termite inspector!

The only branch 3 study guide available & thankfully it's excellent!
Excellent, it is one of the only Branch 3 study guides available if not the only one. It is clear easy to read and goes over all the material that pertains tobthe field. Concrete mixing, structural nomenclature, termite biology its all here and presented well. I read a review that said it only went over branch 2 material and that is false, it covers some things i.e chemical mixtures safety and rules and regulations "all of these things would be on both branch exams. I purchased both digital and the paperback book. Thanks Termite Terry!

Weather stripping with a little light leak
If you’re studying for your branch 3, this is a good book to have but it shouldn’t be the only one. It’s almost perfect but it’s not fully there yet. This book fails to mention treatments for subs by wells, spacing for rods, modern carpentry answers, trenching methods, foundation slab treatments by liquid application. Doesn’t mean it isn’t useless, this a must book to have for your studying. My beef with this book is mainly that in pest control and state license exams, their isn’t just ONE book you can dive into that has it all, this book came somewhat close.Couple things I disliked about it:- Seemingly seem to jump into wood destroying beetles. No introduction into it compared to termites and fungus.- Random introduction to scaffolding, wood members, building code to such fields.- Tightly packed technical information, as in short chapters, to then long quizzes (beetles, concrete, construction, laws and regs)- Confusing questions regarding fungus, redwood, decay resistant wood (for example a question about redwood being resistant then later you getting it wrong because redwoods EVENTUALLY do become attacked HUH?)My mistake was relying on ONE book for the exam, depending on the exam you get, this book may be enough but then again you don’t know what you will get. I passed my applicator and branch 2 in one shot and I remembered why, different sources to study from. Again, this book is a MUST but consider adding to your study material PCT A Technician’s Handbook, PCT also has a book on wood destroying beetles and Modern Carpentry. I wish this book could have been the only one, sadly we must remember that we’re pest management professionals, our job is actually to KNOW these things not to know enough to pass.
