Bodum 13.5oz Canteen Double Wall High-Heat Borosilicate Glass, Set of 6, Clear

I also have Bodum 16oz mugs, and I bought 10oz mugs for my granddaughter which both of us use them to keep our coffee hot. I guess that is proof that I like them . They are really hard to break, even though my wife managed to break one by dropping it on a tile floor. The first time she dropped one it didn't break but persistence finally paid off.

I've had Bodum double-walled glasses for many years, and have always liked them. However, over the years, many of them have been dropped, so, from time-to-time, I need to replenish my supply. Likes: 1. The double wall feature allows me to handle both hot and cold beverages. 2. Bodum glasses don't sweat, so there's no need for a coaster. 3. They're fairly sturdy. 4. They can be washed in the dishwasher. 5. These taper toward the bottom, thus making it much easier for my small hand to grasp them. Dislikes: 1. I don't like it when something is only offered in multiples, especially six of them. The only reason I went ahead and bought more than I needed was the fact that I'd have replacements handy for when I break one. This isn't a dislike for me because I didn't need quite this large a glass, but, as with most glasses, the amount they say it will hold, isn't usually true. I filled this glass up with 12 ounces of water, and there was less than half an inch to spare. Therefore, if you want a glass that actually holds 13.5 ounces with room to spare, you might want to think about ordering a 16 ounce glass. Overall, I'm very happy with these glasses, and I highly recommend them.

They might feel delicate but they are amazingly efficient at keeping my cocktail cold. NO condensation or any other indication that it's not doing a great job. All glasses arrived sound and packed extremely well. These have the little silicone plug in the bottom of the pint sized looking glass. I bet they're 10 oz glasses, and that's the only thing that's going to make me not use them regularly But when the universe tells you something you should listen 🤔🖕

These glasses are clear, beautiful and light weight. But most of them arrived broken, so they are also very fragile. I don't know how well they would survive in a typical household.

Edit 1/7/25- I was too harsh on my first review. These glass are dishwasher safe and are more durable than expected. I was annoyed, at first with all the stickers on each glass that were hard to remove but…these are above average glasses.

My husband and I have used these for 4 months now every day - not taking any special care and they are great, we love them. We love the shape - the top is flared out a little which makes them easier to hold on to. We just put them in the dishwasher like any other glasses. We do not use the silicone tops because we have no need - I would never take any glass in my car anyway. And silicone does not have all those terrible chemicals plastice does. Love that we do not have to use coasters due to the double wall.

We’ve been using these for about a month as everyday glasses. We use ice in all our drinks. They work great at preventing sweating. They are very, very lightweight, do not feel like glass. Yesterday my husband was pouring ice out of a glass into the sink and noticed the entire bottom of the inner layer of glass was missing. There were pieces of broken glass inside the glass. My husband had been drinking out of that glass! We were horrified. We have no way of knowing if he ingested any of that broken glass. We are going to dispose of glasses. I consider these glasses to be too dangerous for anyone to use.

Just make sure, if you have an ice maker, to let the cubes drop into a plastic or other glass and then tip them into these glasses. I haven't had a problem with the glasses shattering when ice drops into them, but I read that others have had that issue. So I don't let the ice dump directly into these wonderful glasses!! No sweating, so as good as Tervis tumblers!
