Buddha Wisdom, Shakti Power

So glad this deck exists! It is by far my favorite deck. The overlap and intersection of Buddhism and Hinduism is beautifully presented here. Having recently become drawn to Tantrik Shaivism (yoga), and having studied Buddhism in the past, this deck speaks to me. The writing in the booklet is very well done, concise and witty and it gets to the heart of the cards. I absolutely love this deck and have been referring a lot of friends to it. The cards have been great points for meditations for me daily but also sometimes used more like Oracle cards for guidance and I have felt a lot of connection to all cards I have drawn so far at different moments

I was looking for a product that would be nice to display but also give me the option of meditating on different meanings daily. I could have easily just made some cards using Note cards but they would not be nice or visually appeasing. I cam across these cards and decided to give them a try. The packaging was nice, the presentation box is good but the cards and accompanying book are the gems! The cards are well made and not flimsy! The depictions are clear and very detailed, the writing is easy to see and read (although I am in my late 30's so to me it is easy but my mother had some issues seeing them without her reading glasses). I love the weight of the cards and the feel of them. I am very happy I purchased these and I will recommend them to my fellow Buddhist novices :-)

The little booklet that accompanies this deck has an introduction by the author that states that the deck "contains a smattering of the diverse pantheon of Buddhist and Hindu deities, bodhisattvas, mandalas, demons and historical figures" ... and "is a microcosm of the world at large, and a sort of "Buddhism 101," with a little Hinduism for spice." I have to say that it is exactly that! It is a very inspiring way to learn about ourselves and the world around us, the deities, etc. themselves, and to move through the world in our day to day lives, and grow. I read and enjoyed every single word in the introduction, the pages about each card, the info in the back of the book about Laura and her inspiration, and the history of Thangkas. I love working with the cards every time I pick them up, which is often. The artwork is absolutely stunning. Laura is a very talented artist, and very knowledgeable about the content. I gave a deck to a few friends as gifts and am receiving reports of how much they are loving the cards, the info in the booklet, and their amazement at the beautiful artwork on each card.If you are interested in Buddhist or Hindu art or philosophy, you will likely love this deck. I highly recommend it!

I love these.... good for meditative and spiritual work and just for learning about Tibetan religious art. NIce little booklet inside explain the pictures. Not tarot cards... just for looking at.

Lovely imagery. The companion booklet does a great job of explaining the history and meaning of each card. Its good at distilling all of the complexity that is part of Buddhist spirituality.
