(SET of 8) Turkish Cotton Hand Face Head Guest Towels (my color choice: White).These are so interesting, textural, & elegant!It does take 5 machine wash /dry cycles, before they start to soften up & become characteristically cotton-absorbent, so don't give up on them after only several laundering. Just wash 1st, (no bleach!), use normally, remember to avoid fabric softener (which coats cotton & makes it less absorbent); Continue using / washing normally, & eventually, they'll be much more absorbent than they were at 1st :b. (To protect the fringes & try to prevent them from unraveling, I wash on gentle cycle. Not delicates, just the slower / mid-range agitation.) Remember, Turkish Peshtemels are *much* thinner than traditional U.S. towels! I'm very adaptable, but if you already know that you're not, these may take some getting used to.I absolutely LUV these hand / face towels. I read a prior review where a woman enjoys using these as kitchen towels... What a great idea! I bought all white for our bathrooms- which is perfect- However, knowing how I completely abuse & stain my kitchen towels (food & olive oil & tomato based soups +++) , personally, I would instead choose a deep, vivid color for kitchen use. I am concerned how "white" will hold up over time, but we've owned & used these multiple times every day, for many months, & they still look brand new!Gorgeous, bono chic, worldly, classic & elegant where ever / however they land on a hang hook, space-saving, functional, fast drying... Transformative decor! :bDimensions: After multiple washer/dryer cycles, each towel measures a generous 24 X 33" ( Not including fringe). These are the hand / face sized towels. They'll easily cover & dry an infant :D We also own, use daily, & proudly display, the much larger sized bath / beach / tablecloth / wrap / all purpose peshtemels ! BUY !!!

I purchased these towels to tie dye, Shibori style, and give as gifts. They’re extremely absorbent, they get softer after every wash and don’t come out of a warm dryer a wrinkled mess! My only issue with them is the seam. The stiff seam is unattractive and poorly stitched.

Whatever negative reviews this brand has are simply untrue or the reviewers did not follow how to wash and dry Turkish towels! I needed to wash them only twice in Cold water, no softener, and dried on Ultra Low setting. Now that we have had them for a few months I am happy to report they only get better! I am not always good at writing reviews because I stay too busy to remember to do it. Yet, I felt this one was important because all Turkish towels are not the same! Some of the Turkish towels never get really absorbent despite following the instructions to the letter. These are great and you can feel confident about purchasing them.

These towels are so great! The fabric is absolutely wonderful, and the colors are marvelous. Just prepare for a long wait because it seems like they take forever to get delivered (I think they come on a slow boat from Turkey), but hang in there! They are SO worth it! They get softer and softer with every washing, too. I use them as hand towels in the bathrooms, and kitchen towels in the kitchen, and those bright pops of color are everything! I will definitely order them again, they are that lovely! I love these towels so much that I no longer use any "regular" towels. I replaced all of my bath towels with the larger size of these, and boy do they make the rooms they are in shine! Especially if you love that more exotic multi-culti vibe. My skin is very sensitive, and Turkish towels get so soft and absorbent that I am hooked on them forever. They are also very light. I highly recommend them to everyone, they are that delightful!

Beautiful, well made and absorbent!

I bought these to use for washcloths and hand towels. They’re great for both uses and I plan to buy more. The extra large bath towels were also a good purchase. I found out the hard way that the dye doesn’t hold up to bleach: grey turned taupe while I just assumed it would fade to a lighter grey. Rookie move and a hard lesson learned as I’m trying to replace everything and move away from taupe in the process.

I have had other turkish towels and find these to be the best so far. They are great as hand towels that dry quickly. But the best feature is they wash easily with no fading and come out of the dryer looking great. No knots in the fringe and no shrinking.

These towels are great! I take them traveling with us as they are so compactible. They are also great for the beach for this same reason. I can fit 6-8 towels in a tote bag no problem. The towels are very soft. Not as absorbable as regular towels but they do the job! I have had no issues with shrinkage when washing and drying them. No tassels have fallen off either. All around great product!

Over $8 per dish towel and it piled after first wash - didn't even put in dryer.... Regret purchase.
