This arrives in parts so has to be assembled, although a screw driver and allen key are provided. Initially I couldn't find the fixings, but located them stored inside one of the rungs. It took about 20 minutes to put it together and some of the screws were quite hard to fully insert, I reverted to a power driver for these. However, once assembled it's a really useful and sturdy step ladder with the added bonus of two extendable airers. It's also quite light weight and easy to move around, and when folded stands upright without have to be leant against a wall.

The 2 stars are really just for the delivery. I got this airer with the hope to use it outside for sheets in the summertime at its fully opened state and for the smaller aierer during the winter months inside along with having the added extra of the step ladder if needed. I got this out to set it up and it didn't take long to realise this was going to be too big to use in our house during the winter months and storing it really just for the summertime use wasn't a great option. I'm not sire how heavy it would be once it's made up but the box wasn't too heavy. It's made of tubular metal with plastic steps. Once fully assembled the airer 'arms' would offer a large hanging space. This will be perfect for someone it just wasn't right for me for a few different reasons.

Very sturdy item, quality materials and logistics. The fact that it could not be assembled forces me to leave only 2 stars. The rungs to the ladder cannot be attached to the frame-the pipework inside just turns with the screws. Had potential but needs work.

Very difficult to put together. Had to get my daughter and son-in-law to do it and they said it needed 2 people and screws did not go in easily

Really smart ideal if you have limited space in your flat does not come pre build but has good instructions So never took long to build and comes with all tools needed

Not very good quality and difficult to put together. It wouldn’t fit many clothes on so was more of a step ladder than a clothes horse. Returned item and was refunded straight away.
