I bought this product because I wanted to save money and to be green. I read somewhere that it takes forever for tampons and pads to break down and is not really safe for our environment. As gross as it is, most of our feminine products end up in the ocean and most of the sea life eat it. ( Nasty, I know) So to save the little fishies in the ocean I decided to switch over to a Menstrual cup. I was skeptical at first but I kept telling myself that this is for the greater good.Alright this part is going to get descriptive so viewers discretion is advised.So I received this item toward the end of my period so I tried the lighter cup. Not knowing what to do I read the instructions it came with and it did say to fold it up in three folds and insert it up the vaginal canal. My first thought was how the hell does it unfold up there if you fold it into three. So I folded in three and inserted in myself. I will say inserting it for the first time took some trial and error but I got it up there. My thoughts were " I am just inserting things into myself now. I feel like I'm violating myself" and " Did I do this right? How do I know if it unfolded? This is a waste of my money" Anyways, as it was up there and I got comfortable with it you can kind of feel the cup unfold and that is how I knew it was working. I figured that I would go about my day to see if I spot or if was not working.At the end of my day I decided to take it out. In my opinion, since this is my first time using this thing, it was hard to get out. My initial thought of getting it out was "oh my god, it's in me forever and I was stupid for inserting this thing in." The reason it was hard to get out because I didn't want to tug on the small string because I didn't want it to break. I read somewhere that if you pinch the bottom of it and pull it will slowly slide out so I did that.holy begesus!!! It worked! It was so nasty to see everything but it worked!I would recommend this product to anyone who has used tampons before. I do not think this a product for someone who has just started their period. As an FYI, I am a petite girl who is her late twenties with no kids for those who may ask. I know the concept is foreign at first but you get used to it and trust me, it will save a turtles life.

Great product! Works as suspected. I have super heavy cycles and I didn’t have any issues all night. Normally with a pad or two I would still end up making a mess some how during the night. The only issue was during the day, I filled the entire cup in less then 4 hours so I’m lucky I had a pad on (I was still nervous it would leak), so if your a heavy bleeder check it every few hours or wear a thin pad or liner just in case. I am so happy that I got the package with both sizes. The large did fit but was a little uncomfortable during the day. I tried the small and it fit so much better without any issues. So much for comfortable than tampons and I don’t feel like I’m wearing a diaper all day.

Size 1 and size 2, I currently used La Diva Cup but I really do not like it, it did not turn out to me since I had small lichen that I did not They made me feel comfortable obviously .. I had no problems with placing it, Much less I felt it but the problem of the liquefaction does not work for me, So I will deal with these and then I will give you my ipinion ... wish me luck ...

I can't believe how amazing this product works at the price! This is the first and only menstrual cup I've used and it is as amazing as I've heard it would be. After 2 months, I noticed a less heavy cycle (and I started out bleeding through a super plus tampon every hour and a half). After 3 months, I had a virtually cramp free period, which has NEVER happened! I still wear a pad just in case I can't make it to the bathroom but if I dump every 4 hours or so, I have NO leaks, and on lighter days, I can literally go 8-10 hours without dumping and still no leaks.The insertion takes some practice and I'm still not always sure if it's in correctly (it usually is) and I don't really have a way of knowing that it's full unless it starts leaking so sometimes I dump as a precaution.I either rinse in the sink or use a baby wipe after each dump. I wash it with Honey Pot soap and water at the end of each day (this can be done in the shower btw) and boil after each cycle.Since I'm such a heavy bleeder and have had 4 kids, I always use the bigger size. I don't feel it at all.I can't imagine the more expensive cups working any differently. It's been almost 4-5 months and this product has withstood multiple boilings, frequent washes, and of course, my vagina. No signs of wear.Grown Woman Stuff: This does keep blood from your vaginal walls due to the lack of leakage, but because of the pull handle, it would definitely NOT be ideal for intercourse on your cycle.

I waited a while before writing this review. I wanted to make sure I had a few cycles first. So this is my 4th cycles with the cup. I love it. In a heavy bleeder and would have to change my tampon everytime I went pee, ( and it would take several wet wipes or a half of roll toilet paper before I would wipe blood free) with the cup everytime I pee, there is no blood when I wipe. I have had it slip on me once and the amount that leaked was no more than a tampon would leak. I change it every 12 hr, it isnt as hard as you think but takes some practice, buy now it is just as easy as putting a tampon in. As far as cramps go I have not seen a reduction in any cramps but I have seen that the duration of my period has decreased a bit. Dont pay a higher price for a different cup. These things are amazing.
