Update: The seller reached out to me and sent me a new unit to replace the one that was throwing the code and not working. I am pleased with the customer service i received. Thank you very much!! I plugged it into the cigarette lighter plug and turned it on. Tried charging a single Milwaukee 18v battery and it keeps popping up E-5. I turned it back off and Tried it multiple times and kept getting the same results. Also tried a different charger. Same results. The only thing I can charge with ut is my cell phone. 😔 I'm very disappointed

I like it but it already destroyed one of the battery cells and it's no way 2000 watts I can't even run 2 separate miliwalkee chargers yo charge my batteries. I might need the 4500 watt device but I do like it just not what it says it can handle

This was bought when the hurricane tore up Jamacia and my husband need some for of electric to charge phone have a light and power his TV for him works great still to this day

This inverter is rated for 1000W/2000W (Peak) based on a 12V source, according to its description. This should deliver at least 8A at 120V or a little more at 110V. I connected the inverter using the car adaptor to a 400W blower, and within the 1st 4-6 seconds of operating the blower the inverter dies!! There's no opportunity for overload based on the device's rating. No other environmental factors such as rain, debris, stretched cabling, etc., I used this product within a couple of hours after receiving it and that was the result!! Faulty construction, cheap parts, lack of any testing, and several other thoughts come to mind. For a batch of 1000 such products, if 300 work, I guess it's enough purchases and corresponding ratings on Amazon. I got lucky my device is still intact. You may not be so lucky if you end up with a similar one as mine.

Great Overall Quality for the price. Able to withstand a lot of power in heavy heated environments including hours in an engine bay. Would definitely recommend for its small but very functional size.

The product looks good because of the display of the input from the car battery, and the AC output voltage it generates. But it is not pure sine wave, so I am not sure what exactly the voltage means, RMS, or average, or something else.

Used twice to test a tiny 8w water pump (Winkeyes 160GPH Fountain Pump with 48” Lift, 8W Small Submersible Fountain Water Pump for Outdoor Indoor Tabletop Water Fountain). Tested twice...worked fine. Third time I tested (a month past the return date) the inverter smoked. No exposure to water or damp. Instantly unplugged, verified battery voltage and pos/neg wire connections, all secure. Zero AC output registering on inverter now and alarm running full tilt. Used on exactly the same battery, connections, device. Am I P.O'd for buying Chinese and all the "helpful" folks here that give it a 4 star rating.

Works well when attached with directly with battery but not working with citrate lighter plug I am not satisfied with this product
