Both my husband and I are big FMA fans. I bought this pocketwatch for him for Christmas a couple years ago. (That specific seller which is no longer here on Amazon) I paid quite a bit less for the one I purchased that many currently have up for sale.My husband loved it and still does. The watch is a fully functional pocketwatch. Pull up on the small little wheel button at the very top (you may need to pull pretty hard, but nothing to worry about as it wont break) to adjust the time, and push it back down in place. After you've set the time and pushed the button back down, it begins keeping track of time. Just like any other watch is made to do.When I received the package containing the pocketwatch much faster than expected. As I said, I purchased it for my husband for Christmas and was told by the Amazon delivery thing it wouldn't reach me until late Dec (after Christmas) or early Jan. Luckily, it ended up arriving about a week before Christmas. So I was super excited about that.The one I purchased did not come with a box nor was it pictured as coming with one. Just shipped in a padded package and was sealed in a clear plastic bag thing. I was expecting more of a pocketwatch chain that attached to a belt loop or something rather than a necklace type chain since my husband does not wear necklaces often. We were both still pleased either way.Our favorite thing about this watch is the how it has the engraving on the inside just like the one shown in Ed's. I can't remember is our engraving says Don't forget 3.oct.11 or Don't forget 3.oct.10. The engraving inside your watch will let you know if yours is based off of the Fullmetal Alchemist magna or anime.Even after 2 years, this product is still in perfect condition and works wonderfully. My husband does not get it out to use often because he doesn't want to worry about our 3 year old getting ahold of it or it getting broken somehow.

I bought two of these for Christmas 2013 for my kids, who are FMA fans. College-boy has been carrying his around everywhere and using it as a regular watch. It holds up to wear & tear very well. My pre-teen daughter alternates between putting it on display in her room, and keeping it in her pocket at all time (Airport Security was intrigued by it during the holidays!).I noticed one reviewer mentioned that his didn't open up all the way, but that has to have been a flaw. The two we got open up fully and are easy to read.I can't emphasize enough how fantastic these are. Great price, great product. It's extremely authentic looking. It works perfectly. It's VERY sturdy. This would easily sell for at least $30-$40 at a fan convention.

First: The seller I got this from was Cosplay House, for $18.01 and free shipping.On the outside, this is a fine product. Everything is in its place, looks great. The inside is a bit lacking, however. It uses plastic to cover the clock inside, which wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't completely obvious. The plastic spins around inside the metal housing.I was also a bit disappointed at the design on the inside of the watch. Instead of a standard, minimalist design like they are officially in the anime, the watch has Ed's crest (on the back of his cape and on Al's shoulder) over some type of transmutation circle on the watch. This makes it a bit hard to see the clock's hands.But I could easily get past all of this for a 5 star review if it weren't for one thing: a glaring error in the labeling of the watch. If you look in the customer images of this product, one will have a note that marks an error in the roman numerals. This is the exact watch I received. Instead of a correct "IV," as it should be, the 4 is labeled "IIII," which is incorrect roman numerals, which is a pretty glaring and breaking error in my eyes. I wish I could take the plastic cover off, put some white out over that, and pencil in the correct numeral. Terrible error, cosplay house, terrible.Though I did only pay $18, so I can't complain too much about the quality of the product. The shipping was astonishingly fast. I received the package 17 days before the earliest estimated arrival time.So just be careful who you're buying this from, I would have shelled out an extra 10 or 15 bucks if it meant I got just a little more quality and accuracy.

I wore it all the time beautiful watch and runs on a battery so if runs out take it to your local watch repair. and hopefully it won't be broken and you won't freak out thinking that you broke it if the battery runs out it very easy to set but the chain is a little unstable if you use it after a while the clip might come off or if you are very rough with it the chain might lose a link the colour will slightly fade on the chain after a while and the window is made of plastic I've had this watch for about 3 years and I love it to pieces!
