Sensor wind speed anemometer with RJ11 For weather station N25FR WH1080 sensor for Arduino

Works well for at least 5 years.

I have been using this anemometer for a while now and been unable to get accurate data at certain points. Recently I discovered the reason is because when the anemometer is connected to the reed switch is constantly sends signals, which means when the wind isn't going very quick the data will spike, is there a way to fix this?
