Wow. This product along with the conditioner is a game changer!! I’m South Asian and have thick, frizz-prone, 2b type hair. I have been long exhausted by the search for the perfect shampoo/conditioner that cleans but doesn’t dry out my hair and protects it from frizz. However, it’s summer and my hair really needed some saving. Also, Idk what people mean about the smell. It has a high-end salon shampoo smell rather than fruity bubble gum and my bf even complimented me on it. I bought this product because I read that Vernon Francois does Lupita Nyong’o’s hair and as a grad student I don’t have a big budget but I am SO impressed by this product!! Give it a try! I bought it with the conditioner (that comes in a convenient spray bottle) and even though the conditioner arrived leaking in the box, I got a new one sent free of charge. Thank you! Once I can afford to, I want to try other products in the line.

This shampoo smells great! kind of like a spa/ relaxing herbal scent which feels very clean. Does a great job of getting rid of the oil and keeping my hair soft without making it feel dry. However, I do not feel like my hair is any curlier.

The product itself is very liquid, and poured out of the bottle without you squeezing. It wasn’t as moisturizing as I had hoped it would be, as a curly hair shampoo, and definitely suds up. It smells nice and the packaging is pretty. I probably won’t buy it again though.

I can’t say that I dislike anything about this product. For curly hair it’s the best!

I saw this product recommended on a blog so I tried it. For my curly hair, it does not offer enough moisture.

I have thin, coarse gray hair that is 2b curly. This is the first shampoo I bought since I went fully gray that actually conditions my hair without being heavy or stripping my hair. I only wash my hair every other day or two, but I think I could use this every day and not dry out my hair. I also love the smell. I can now throw away all the other shampoo disappointments I bought recently. This one is a keeper

The shampoo smells terrible and leaves your hair greasy.The conditioner smells tolerable. But it's in a spray bottle. Good luck not accidentally spraying it in your eye.
