Does what it's supposed to do

I bought this chalk after watching a YouTube video about it. Very nice!

Brilliant! I ordered 1 box of Hagoromo's Fulltouch chalk and I've got to say, so far my experience using it has been positive and worthwhile. Originally, I was under the impression that I would receive a chalk that was slightly larger and a heavy box of 72 pieces. To my surprise, Amazon dropped off a box 4 times as small and it left me temporarily puzzled. It was a mistake on my part because I compared it to another one of Hagoromo's Boxes of Chalk whose chalk is way larger and thicker. My purpose for using this chalk was to use it on a small chalkboard to jot down names and keep score while playing billiards matches with my older buddies since we love meeting up on Fridays at my house to play for cash. I will keep buying more of this stuff as I run out.

A few years ago, the already great Hagoromo chalk was improved to the Luminous.With a lot of pigment and extremely bright and smooth, it is worth the higher price.This is absolutely the best colored chalk in the world.It writes smoothly like butter, it is as visible as the white one but in the brightest colors and it erases without trace.As a very visual college prof in math and physics, it makes my day.A box (get the 6 = ALL colors luminous) will last a lifetime.The luminous colors are much brighter and more visible and enjoyable.I had our whole department switch to it, in every seminar room. The first visitor after that started by thanking us for the chalk.Don't forget the Hagoromo microfiber erasers. I have a few microfiber pads which I rinse, squeeze and keep wet in a freezer bag. That is the best way to use them, wet but not dripping. With two knitting pins I put two large erasers together into a very large one which erases a blackboard in a few seconds...For the white chalk, I prefer the Hagoromo Large White, available from time to time. A stick lasts 5 to 10 lectures.....The Hagoromo plastic box is not strong enough. I use some metal eyeglass boxes instead.

No screeching on blackboard

The chalk itself is fine. The shipping method was awful. No padding other than a thin layer of bubble wrap around the chalk box itself. The enclosing boxes free to move in the Amazon box. Nearly every piece broken.

Perfect for my kids art projects

I got two orders big box,,I like the product about 10-15 pieces on per order was brokenThe second order was smashed had 10 broken stick of chalk. Can’t return the chulk because my children used half of the chulk
