It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. When I switch it on it auto connects immediately to my iPhone which is always nice, more than I can say for my Broan Sensonic fan.I have this installed in my second bathroom off of my basement workshop, so of course I put a custom in-wall audio system. The original power source was from Monoprice and was nice but was never meant to be installed in an American electrical box. This devices design on a standard device yoke is ideal.The only biggest con is the power supply being a plug in wall adapter. Why? How does that make any sense in the design of this? I decided before even buying this I would custom fit a power supply to be fitted in the wall box with it.Without thinking I purchased a doorbell transformer lol not realizing the output needed to be DC not AC, so that did not work at all, well it did and then the xformer burned out, not sure why but for the cost I wasn’t going for round two.I then tried an LED power supply which would’ve worked had it not been a “dimming” model. For whatever reason it also wouldn’t power the unit. I feel if it had a been a non-dimming standard power supply I would’ve been golden.Finally I dissected the included plug in wall adapter, soldered extension wires on, fitted it inside the wall box and everything works as advertised.I CANNOT recommend doing what I did because it violates multiple electrical codes, but as an electrician I’ll be the judge of that.TLDR this unit would be perfect if they made it a truly in-wall installation without the plug in transformer.

Finally got this installed and it works great!! This one is for my bathroom speaker and everyone loved it at Christmas and now the kids don't stop playing with it! It connects easily every time and once the code is entered you're all good.. Decent volume too for this little amp, does get a little warm but it was on for about six hours straight. Would recommend for sure

I was pleasantly surprised. Existing unit died. Was hooked up to two speakers in the cieling. Power was nearby. Made quick work of it. Sounds good. No signal issues. Sets up quick. Could "look" better, but it does what its supposed to right there on the kitchen wall.

Ideally the 12V dc supply would be integrated. It is not. This is ok if your install location is near a vanity or closet where you can run a 110 outlet then feed the DC supply back through the wall to the amp. I’m doing a bathroom so it was pretty easy to hide the transformer. My issue is the amp power is low (24 watts) and the sound quality was like a cheap transistor radio when played on Micca R-8C speakers (8 Ohms; Sensitivity: 90dB 1W/1M; Power Handling: 120 Watts). I’m NOT an audiophile so if there is an issue with my speaker selection, I don’t know if there is a better speaker choice that will improve sound quality. Otherwise, I need to return the unit.
