Good quality and warm enough for ski, but has some drawbacks.1. Zippier isn’t very good.2. It doesn’t come high or low enough around the neck. If zipping to the end, neck can’t move freely; if leaving zipper open a little, the top tip of the zipper is sharp and keeps rubbing the chin.Update:I used fabric tape to tape the top of the zipper and it worked well. My son loved the coat so we didn't return it. I can see he will still wear it this winter. The customer service is good. And based on their feedback, they have replaced the zippers for the new batch of winter coats.

I purchased these for my kids age 7,8 & 3 year old . I Loved the overall quality of these jackets!!! Made out of Good materials and kept my kids warm in Tahoe. The hood in the back has velcro for “hood adjustment “ so it’s not in your face or covering your eyes. For my three year old only thing i had to do was roll the sleeve once over and he was good.

Ski jacket for skiing! Almost instantly wet from outside to inside and from inside to outside. Not working for my 5 year old twin grandkids. We will return them now after 3 weekend in good skiing conditions.

This coat was a great price but we got what we paid for. The hood was only half sewn on. with the first couple uses, it had several rips, the stitching was poorly done. When I contacted customer service about this with pictures their response was, "looks like that is an easy hand stitch job that you can do to fix it." I questioned about returning it and was told it was too late. So yes I hand stitched these spots, and through the one year we've had it, I've had to do several stitch fixes and will just be throwing it away. It did keep my son warm so I guess that was at least good. Was not a good buy. Very disappointed. Poorly made.

My son absolutely loved this jacket! He was asking for a jacket that wasn’t big and bulky, and this fit the bill! It was a perfect fit for a 7 year old. I noticed an issue with the zipper immediately, as the first time he put it on, it got stuck. He cried about it being ruined, but my husband was able to fix it. A few weeks later, the zipper got stuck and then broke off completely while he was at recess. We can still use the Velcro to close it, but are disappointed that it only lasted a few weeks when we expected at least one winter’s worth out of this coat.

We have not had snow to try it in yet but the jacket's built as described. It is not too heavy, but definitely has mass. Our son has worn it outside many times. The jacket comes up high around the neck which is beneficial when the wind is blowing. The fabric definitely is water resistant so should be fine in the snow. Hopefully, he does not out grow it by the time snow hits.

These jackets run smaller than most. I bought these for my twin grandsons and they fit but the boys won't get much wear out of these. They seemed to be very narrow in the arms and shorter than most jackets that size. Other than that they are nice looking and the boys said they are warm.

Awesome jacket for 15 degree snowy weather. The jacket zipper has a small piece of material that covers the top of the zipper when closed to protect/hide the zipper from making contact with skin. Wish this piece of material was a little longer as it is a little hard to finagle the zipper under the small piece. Water resistant and warm. Perfect for snow. Used on a kid who is 45 lbs and it fit great.
