As another reviewer mentioned, this item is of poor quality and extremely overpriced. Parts of the bamboo were already broken off the drawer and others were splintering, the sliding cover fits badly.If this were $10 or less, it wouldn't bother me, but a rip-off at $50.

I am so impressed with the craftmanship and quality of this portable altar. The small wooden buddha inside is very detailed, as is the outside of the box. It's not mentioned in the product description, but there is a small drawer for incense storage and a built in holder for stick incense. The drawer has a magnet closure so it doesn't open in transit. The whole thing is a beautiful little jewel and fills me with joy.

This is beyond unacceptable. A total rip off. The window on mine arrived thoroughly scratched. The entire item is completely covered in chips, splinters, blemishes, and mill markings in the wood. Horrible wood quality and craftsmanship. The figure isn't even the same color as the photo. With no hyperbole, this is the type of quality you would expect to find at a dollar store. It isn't worth $5, let alone $50.
