Great to add high protein packed with nutrients
A friend recommended Amaranth, superfood grain that packs some punch per cup. Impressed with amino acid profile, protein amount and antioxidant benefits. Often use this seller and always happy with quality. Easily cook in 20 mins. Has slight nutty taste, add honey/syrup to sweeten or put in savoury dishes. I also like popped amaranth (pre cooked to add to cereal and smoothies)

Great value and good quality
I bought this aramanth to use to make a version of porridge as I am on a grain free diet. I mix it with coconut or almond milk and warm it gently for twenty mins until it is a creamy and warm porrige like texture. Lovely as a cold morning breakfast and a change from my usual eggs. I add a combination of seeds/nuts/nut butter and blueberries to it.

Horrible Full of Sand
This product is the worst. With every mouthful you will be chewing on Sand. Just absolutely disgusting. 😒

Questionable quality - gritty crunch
The size of bag and value looked great hence I purchased this. So far I have made three meals with the grains. I noticed a lot of crunching in my first meal, but assumed I had over cooked the grain as left it on the stove too long. However both the second and third attempts have also had the same gritty or crunchy aspect. It’s not every mouthful, which makes me wonder if the processing of the grain isn’t great and includes foreign bodies. I’ve been washing the grain to try and remove any invisible dirt but there is still a crunch. Prior to this I used a different brand from the health store and have never had this issue. I’ve rated it low as I don’t think this is a quality product and I no longer want to eat from this batch incase I am eating invisible foreign bodies.
