You can pick either white or black/silver :)

No. It's not a cover. It's one piece of material, with black on one side and silver on the other.

Q: Is there logo on the umbrella?

There's no logo on the umbrella. It's completely "sterile".

Q: does the shaft fit elinchrom strobes?

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure about the elinchrom however I do have the Alien Bee's and it fits fine there. However it is a little heavy on it but fits and works fine nonetheless. Hopefully that helps you.
