Uni Alpha-Gel Mechanical Pencil 0.5mm, Pure Black (M5807GG1PP.24)

I love it. It is perfect size. Easy to hold. Comfortable. I love the lead size. Totally worth it. Pencils and Pens are my thing. Pilot is the best.

It is the perfect pencil

I used this mechanical pencil for years in college, it's very comfortable to use and stylish.

This pencil was perfect for my hands. I have long hands. I enjoy the slimmer pencils and the squishy grip is amazing!!! !100/10

PROS-The grip is initially very comfortable to hold-The tip is solid with no mechanical play (however this is pro is mitigated due to the con)CONS-The grip is soft not only on the surface, but feels like it's soft almost to the core of the pencil. The result feels like using a gummy candy as a grip, while it may sound comfortable, you quickly realize the grip dampens the motion of your fingers as you write (i.e. you have to apply more pressure with your fingers any time you want to change direction during writing - which is a lot, unless you plan to use this pencil only to draw long lines). In the attached picture, I'm pressure the end of a plastic pen against the grip to show how much the grip deforms under light pressure.I would prefer if the grip layer wasn't so thick; a thinner grip layer would provide a soft interface between the fingers and the pencil, while providing enough structural stability to write quickly and neatly. The grip material would be perfect if they wanted to make a stress ball. The material feels like it would be rated Shore 00-20.
