No cork-screwing, and I found it perfectly able to cut quickly, requiring around 6 re-tightenings of the wheel to go through my 15mm copper water pipe and left a neat cut that to my inexperienced eye seemed fantastic for £7 and much better value than the £10 badly reviewed plastic toolstation cutters

Does the job. Produce good clean cut. No chance to test over time.

Very helpfull

I needed a pipe cutter for my bike toolbox, to use to cut down the steerer tube of new forks. I didn't want to buy something too expensive, as it's not a tool I would be using constantly, and this fit the bill perfectly! Even though it was cheap, it feels incredibly well made and with tight tolerances. They even bothered greasing the thread during assembly which isn't something you usually see on tools like this! It works perfectly, and cuts aluminium clean and straight every time.

I would of gave this item one star because the black plastic wheel bit for tightening broke on first try, I have given it a few more stars only because I was able to modify it myself by using an Allen key bolt and nut and then was able to cut my bike handlebars , the very very weak point in the chain here is the tightening bolt , it's rubbish..which is a shame because once I modified it it worked a treat and easily cut a quite thick bicycle handle bar very neatly.

Good price and fast delivery

I knocked a star off as it was a bit persnickety at times and rattled around a bit. Otherwise, I used this for a custom water loop inside my PC to cut acrylic/PETG. It did exactly what I asked of it. I found it wore out and started to rattle around/became less sturdy over time though. It held up really well to begin with but was using it lots.Ultimately though for the low price, and the fact it was less than a tenner I kept it at 4 stars as it did the job I asked of it and saved me having to fork out loads more. I wouldn't recommend it though to last for any extended period of time

These types of cutter vary considerably in price so I just looked for the cheapest. This one is excellent for DIY work but is probably not the most robust. It cuts 15mm copper tube with ease and is a pleasure to use. The screw thread that tightens the cutter is quite small (M5?) so may not last too long - but it's working fine at the moment. Very good value.

Sehr schnelle Lieferung und hat alles sehr gut geklappt, vorallen weil er sehr klein ist ,und man die Röhre sehr schnell durch schneiden kann,Preisleistung stimmt.

Lo he comprado para acortar el manillar de la bici que es de aleación de aluminio y va perfecto! hay que insistir un poco apretando cada vez más, pero se corta en seguida! buen producto lo recomiendo!

Premetto che non sono un professionista ma ho dovuto tagliare alcuni tubi in rame, di piccolo diametro (12 mm e poco più). Ho sempre usato il seghetto a mano per ferro ma questo semplice apparecchio è efficace e funziona decisamente bene. Sembrerebbe essere anche sufficientemente robusto, almeno per un uso hobbistico. Dopo alcune prove, ho scoperto che il modo migliore di usarlo, nel mio caso, non è girandolo attorno ai tubi ma appoggiandolo su di un piano per girare poi il tubo con entrambe le mani: in questo modo, si può facilmente tenere il tubo diritto e si fatica molto meno.

Son grand avantage est sa compacité, très pratique quand le tube est déjà en place et qu'on ne peut pas beaucoup l'éloigner du mur. Coupe très nette.Naturellement pour un usage professionnel au quotidien je ne sais pas ce que ça donnerait mais pour un usage très occasionnel c'est parfait.
