A lovely book for all aspiring classical guitarists
Such a beautifully put together book. All my students love it to pieces. And me too!

Highly recommended for learners
Eleven pieces that help to develop classical technique as well as being (mostly) fun to play. Some are original, the others are arrangements of familiar tunes and there is a real mix of styles. Each piece is long enough to feel like a proper piece of music. I wasn't so keen on one or two and I probably would have abandoned them had my teacher not insisted I play them.I've been working through this book with a guitar teacher, after having completed the four 'Guitarist's Way' books and they are perfect for that next step. Each piece introduces new technical challenges, without being overwhelming. They are about grade 3 to 4 think.

Book by guitarists for guitarists
I have played the guitar for many years and Diversions is one of my favourite guitar books. The Pieces are varied and interesting.A great book for classical and acoustic guitar.I expect John and Peter may not approve but I find the Pieces great for electric guitar.Very surprised there are so few reviews of this great guitar book.
