If You Must? Look Further; But You'll be Back
I cannot speak highly enough of this vendor and, most especially, the quality of craftsmanship displayed! If you have never owned a pair of huaraches, my goodness! -- you deserve this treat! The color and the hues given off by this vendor's leather is a deep and lush brunette with added golden highlights. The weave is tighly woven, expertly executed, flat, while three-dimensional and just plain damned good lookin'! On delivery, do not expect soft, Bison leather. It will be solid and hearty. These are not "Mary Jane's".As to size, I normally wear size 7; had they been available, I'm certain that the fit would have been accurate. With the only a size 6, I counted on a bit of help an inexpensive product that you can purchase here on Amazon! Don't' bother with shoe horns or wooden stretchers!! TOO much money for too little yield! GET YOURSELVES "FOOT MATTERS"! Professional grade shoe softener and softener! Apply (spray) generously in full knowledge that color of leather will be safe. Slip and wear for the rest of day. IT WORKS!!An The huaraches' bottom, the size 6, surprisingly, is the precise outline of my size 7 foot; no "stubtoe" room on the six if you're a size seven, but-- given that? How often do you stub your toe?And now to the most important section of this review! THESE HUARACHES ARE GENUINE, HAND-MADE-IN-MEXICO ARTICLE WITH RE-CYCLED TIRES FOR SOLES. The stitching is impeccable. Rather than the very "sloppy-look" huarches that you so often see floppin' about on people's feet, those having stretched, because of poor quality leather, or perhaps the client ordered a size too large. Look at these vendors' huaraches first; put them in your cart, and then re-visit your cart when you're tired of looking for the genuinely fine article! Don't trust that others are genuinely re-cycled tires! Rubber with slightly raised "tread" would represent someone "trying very hard" to commit you to purchasing a "forgery". The "asking" is within "considerate" range and is much less than the fake, "fashion" huaraches. Those made by this vendor are beautiful huaraches, flawlessly made! You cannot compete with perfection. Appreciate for your time!(And remember: When you go to have your appendix removed, don't take off your new huaraches, because will want them !!! But DO take off your "mask" because your surgeon is NOT worried about catching your appendicitis! He and the surgical team are maintaining a STERILE ENVIRONMENT that protects YOU, the patient. NOTE THE WORDS "STERILE ENVIRONMENT!" Masks do NOT create a sterile environment. Are you protecting yourself? No! Are you protecting others? Barely. How many people sterilize these "required by law masks" before going out to touch their dirty steering wheel, or carry unsterilized bags to their car, where the handles to their cars have not been sterilized, then they sit down in their unsterilized cars and then touch their own unsterilized mask with their unsterilized hands, ( or latex gloves ), so as to reach under their unsterilized masks to sctatch their unsterilized nose? Now. Put on your new huaraches, and stop being so bloody afraid! People who are fearful are easily CONTROLLED while not necessarily PROTECTIG "Victims!" Of zero c. some fright ........... ( Just Critical Thinking! ) --vibby--

The size did work after all
I too had questions about the sizing, I wear a size nine and when I wrote the company about the 5-10 sizes they said the sandals would fit me, so I went ahead and ordered, they came today and sure enough the sandals were marked a 7, but my size 9 foot fit perfectly, I have no idea how this works but it does, they fit nicely, not too loose or too tight. The only thing is the orange color of the leather, I’m told that if I soak them and wear them the color does lighten, so I may try soaking them first and see if I can tone down the orange color, if anyone has other ideas on changing the color please let me know, the sandals are a good deal for $30!, seem well made and jadcno defects or irregularities that I noticed!

The real huarache deal
I have been looking for an authentic pair of Huaraches for years. I bought a some in TJ, Mexico, on a trip down to Baja and they were a childhood favorite. They had tire tread soles and I wore them almost every day into the ground they were so comfortable almost like a second pair of soles, Years later I went searching and even ended up buying a pair that were not the real thing, and had cheap rubber soles. I returned them straight away. When I got these in the mail I was delighted that they are exactly what I was envisioning. I ordered a women's size 6 and they are true to size, the leather is a tad stiff and they make that squeaky noise I remember, but they will soften and stretch with use and time. They're a burnt orange color, which I actually like. It's what my original pair looked like and of course they have the tire tread sole. For the price I don't think I could have found a better deal. Very happy.

One shoe fit like a glove.
These are adorable well made shoes. The left fit like a glove and so comfortable. The right was so tight that EVEN after a week on the shoe stretcher it cut the circulation off to my entire foot and made it turn BLUE. I was so disappointed.

These are not 'True to Size"
I wear a womens 8-1/2, purchased a 9 and they were far too large. I really wanted to like these but everything was just a bit off from what I wanted: the size, weird smell, color too light and quite rough and some of those things may have changed after wearing. Just not the right shoe for me.

Comfortable, cute and good value.
For the price, these sandals are a good buy. They are comfortable, look and fit well. The sole, as I expected, is a little thicker than I normally like but it is ok and, as I said, good value for the price. I would definitely recommend them if you are not looking for top quality but an attractive, comfortable sandal with good style.

Too long
These were beautifully made and I so wished they had fit. They were way too long for me. If you have a short wide foot like myself, they probably won’t work for you, either.

Well made, but run a little big
I love huaraches but these run a bit big, IMO. I normally wear a 9 and I put them on, but they hardly would stay on my heel. So, I used a little water on a cloth, and medium heat blow dryer several times overnight and they are a bit better. Great tread, just like you get in Mexico. Never wear out! Nice leather, and I like the cut, wish they had half sizes!
