Silver Tongue Oral Care - All Natural Colloidal Silver Mouthwash, 16 oz.

It takes getting used to if you're accustomed to the Listerine-type of mouth washes. But once you get used to it, you won't want to go back to your old mouthwash again. At least that's what happened to me. It has a thicker consistency than typical mouthwashes. The taste reminds me of ginger. For me, the best thing about it is the fact that it has helped me with my gum disease. It calmed the swelling of my gums. Recently, I had painful swelling, and after swishing with this 3 times a day, the swelling and pain disappeared. Same thing happen with my 7-year old son. He had swelling and pain in one area of his gums. He did NOT like swishing this stuff in his mouth for very long even though I watered it down( he's been accustomed to the bubble gum flavored mouthwash his dentist gives him ) so I just applied it directly to the affected gums with a q-tip. His pain and swelling went away within a day. I'm trying to get my kids to use this more consistently. My older son, 11, uses it with no issues. I wish it came with a larger cap that you can use as a cup. I use 2 cap fulls. Overall, I'm happy with it and will buy again.

I've been using this for two months. My main goal was to help my gums grow, or at least plump up a bit. I think it's done that. I have receding/thinning gums and this seems to be the only product I've tried that's made a difference. I do think I'm sensitive to it. If I use it too often, I notice tooth sensitivity. I'm curious if anyone else experiences that. I noticed it even more when I took an oral silver supplement, so it must be the silver. But I just decrease the frequency to once maybe twice a day, and it's fine. In addition to gargling with this, I use Sovereign Silver drops in my nose. Haven't been sick all winter, which is highly unusual for me!UPDATE: I've been using this for over 6 months and no longer feel sensitive to it. It definitely helped with my receding gums. My dentist even commented on how much healthier they are (pinker, plumper, not pulling away from the tooth) and asked what I was using. I'm very pleased and use it daily. Highly recommended!

As far as a mouthwash goes this product goes far beyond what you think a mouthwash is suppose to do.Lets start with crystal clear breath and no side effects which commercial items have as baggage.I have been using Silver Tongue Oral Care to close on a year and I have not had a cold, virus or sore throat, although my occupation in the retail industry where I am exposed to the public and over one hundred and twenty employees in a third world country is astounding, considering that when these outbreaks occur they last for months.Also using this product has relieved my receeding gums and halted enamel loss.The only reason I have not given it five stars s that every second or third delivery I have a broken or cracked top.I can highly recommend Silver Tongue Oral Care.

This stuff is beyond awful! It's like trying to rinse your mouth with olive oil, flavored with clove and some other god awful flavors.I bought this for my Mom because she has some issues with her cancer treatment and this was recommended.This would have made her issue so much worse! If I could, I would pay people to not buy it. It IS THAT BAD!It also took me four teaspoons of peanut butter to try and get rid of the burning/stinging/oil-y feel of it and after an hour, I can still feel/taste it as I write this review.

My primary physician had put me on a topical product containing colloidal nanosilver for a skin injury. It was so successful it inspired me to look into the health benefits of colloidal silver in general. I came across this oral mouthwash and decided to try it out. My husband fell in love with it (I like it too, but he's picky and skeptical about just about everything, so if he's pleased I'm pleased). He especially has a tender mouth, and is concerned about oral hygiene. We tended to use Listerine products, which can be very harsh, and apparently some studies show alcohol based mouth wash can increase risk of mouth cancer. This product, however, has all kinds of good stuff in it, and I brought it to my dentist to look over and he concurred. The ingredients are: distilled water, xylitol, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), essential oils (cinnamon, peppermint, rosemary, lemon, myrrh, thyme, clove, eucalyptus), xanthan gum, grapefruit seed extract, lecithin, nanosilver. The nanosilver is what caught my attention in the first place, it has antibacterial properties, but the other ingredients are very helpful as well, freshens breath without the harshness. My husband had a toothache and the first time he rinsed with this the toothache went away. It has now become part of our daily oral routine.

Didn't help with my mouth sores, and caused burning in mouth. Seems like a normal mouthwash, didn't mind the taste, but it's too expensive to keep buying.

use it in my hydrofloss or on my toothbrush. Highly recommended by 2 alternative dentists I have used. I feel it gets your mouth clean and disinfected without burning it with overly-strong flavors.

I first bought this mouth wash from a vendor at my local farmers market and have been using it for about a year and a half now. It is pricey but totally worth it. A little goes a long way and the bottle lasts quite a long time, and it is natural and good for overall oral health. I tend to bite the inside of my cheek or accidentally once in a while. Anytime I do that or I swish this stuff around my mouth and the next morning my mouth is completely healed. It's fantastic! It also works when I feel like I'm starting to get a little bit of a sore throat - I just gargle with it and it helps with that a lot.I would also recommend their deodorant. I will never go back to the unhealthy store bought deoderants.
