Smooth Steering and Peace of Mind in a Bottle I’ve been using this Prestone European formula power steering fluid in my older BMW, and it’s been a great match. The 12 oz size is convenient—plenty to top off without having to store a bulky container in the garage. The fluid pours cleanly, no odd odor, and I immediately noticed the steering felt a touch smoother after topping off. What I appreciate is that it’s specifically blended for European vehicles, which takes the guesswork out of whether I’m using the right formulation. Some fluids are more universal, but having one that is designed for the quirks of European steering systems makes me more confident in long-term reliability. A couple of things to keep in mind: the bottle is small, so if you’re doing a full flush you’ll need several; this is best for top-offs. Also, always double-check your owner’s manual to be sure it’s compatible with your exact make and model. Bottom line: A reliable, easy-to-use power steering fluid that keeps my European car steering smoothly. Great for maintenance peace of mind.

It's a complaint CHF 11s fluid. Not any cheaper though
Just needed to top off my power steering fluid and went with this over a Pentosin bottle. Validated it is CHF 11S complaint. No issues since the top off, but should note that it is no cheaper per ounce than the true Pentosin that is the OEM fill in a vast number of Euro cars. But for top off jobs, this 12oz. bottle did the trick, as I didn't need a full liter. Easy to pour bottle is nice too.

Must have for topping off fluid on your Mercedes
If you need to top off your power steering fluid and your Mercedes (or any European car) uses CHF11S fluid, buy this. Pentosin CHF11S costs a lot more and only comes in a liter size bottle. This is compatible and its the smallest size you can buy for a fraction of the price. My 2002 S500 was making a grinding noise whenever I turned the steering wheel on a cold engine. I checked the fluid level and it was empty. After topping it off, no more noise.
