Cooks Essentials White Toaster Oven

what attracted me to this oven was the extended cook time (120 min.) which is a good feature. however, it cooks extra, extra hot and you have to be very careful not to burn things in it. also when you pull out the inside to clean it, there are a LOT of sharp edges. nicked my fingers twice.

The toaster cooks way too hot. I put an english muffin in to toast, and it was actually in flames within minutes. I would not recommend this particular toaster over.

I bought this for a freind for Christmas and he loves it, he just said he has been using it all week long

We purchased the oven for our office and it works very well. We recommend the product for its price and practicality

I absolutely LOVE LOVE it. This is the best toaster oven ever made. I purchased a while ago and have been meaning to write a great review and just used it and it reminded that I need to tell others do not look any further. First of all, I am a picky buyer. Item has to meet many many needs and looks. This toaster oven has two shelves, yet not too large - I have a very small kitchen. 3 dials makes it very clear what you need to set and where. (My last toaster oven, unless you left the manual out, you could not figure out the dials. This is nice and quiet. (My last toaster oven's timer clicked as it cooked). This toaster oven comes with a mini broiling pan, like the ones that come with large kitchen ovens - blackish blueish porcelain type - PLUS an aluminum broiling pan. The entire insides pull right out for so very very easy cleaning. AND MY VERY FAVORITE OPTION IS: Most white toaster ovens look horrible after you burn an item - they turn yellow brown and look terrible. I put so much time in looking for one that had a black glass door that would hide this when it happens, and the handle is place in the perfect place to also hide this if it happens, but what I did not realize until I got my oven, there are chrome strip inside by the door, which actual keeps this from turning any of the white to a burnt yellow brown. IF THIS IS NOT ENOUGH, THE PRICE WAS ONE OF THE CHEAPEST WHICH IS CRAZY - I WOULD HAVE PAID OVER $100 FOR THIS IF I HAD RECEIVED IT AND WAS ABLE TO SEE AND TRY IT FIRST -----IT WAS ONLY $30. DO NT HESITATE, I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS WITH ANY STRONGER RECOMMENDATIONS - I just hope they never change a thing on it, for when this one gets old and no longer functions....I will be buying another one ! A+++++++++++

There are many good things I can say about this toaster oven: it has a liner that can be removed for cleaning, it has two shelves, a nice broiler pan, etc., and all in all, I judge it to be a quality product--especially for the price. So why then have I given it only two stars? The reason has to do with making toast, which in the past was probably the thing I used previous toaster-ovens for the most. Although I've owned this "toaster" oven for a while now, I cannot seem to master the toast function.To make toast one must first turn the top knob straight up to "Toast/Bake," and then next turn the middle knob all the way to the right to "Broil/Toast." After that you move on to the tricky part: one must set the minutes one judges it will take to turn the bread brown! But, if you choose too little time, the thing "dings" and turns off and the bread isn't toasted; or more likely, because it is so hard to judge, one sets it for too many minutes and then if one does not watch the thing like a hawk the result is black bread!Therefore, I've chosen two stars because of the quality and other functions, but as a toaster I would give it NO stars if that was possible. I should have bought a plain old toaster but hind sight is always 20/20, right?
