Classy GroundcoversLiriope spicata (50 Bare Root Plants)

I decided to give these liriope spicata bare root plants a try and I am not disappointed. The plants arrived within a week of ordering with deep, healthy roots. Plants had been separated and then bunched together and wrapped in plastic wrap. It's been about a week since I planted them and they are looking healthy. I will be ordering more. 5 stars all the way. Thank you!

They were small, some with one to three blades of grass but weren't brown or completely dried out. However, I planted them as instructed and they promptly just disappeared. Not sure why. Other stuff is growing fine in that location. Good sun and water conditions. No freezes/frost. I wasted all that money and back breaking work putting 50 in the ground. I've had it before in this region without problems. Bummer.

Expected larger plants with more root structure for $89, about 2$ a plant, many had almost non existent roots. Hopefully will survive.

Very healthy when they arrived at my home. I was happy to see that. I cut most of them in half at the roots and had twice as many to plant. great deal here! I'll be ordering more soon!

I've seen some of the previous comments, and while this is not exactly what you get that's because it's not a mature yet. You could plant the entire lot they send you, and when it bloomed, it would closely resemble the picture.For my purposes, I wanted to use the individual roots to begin spreading, and while they aren't perfect this is cheaper than going to your local garden shop and getting the same amount (I haven't seen it in greenhouses).

The shipping on the bare root was quick and I felt like I got what I was expecting. The bare roots already had grass sprouts and I received extra roots in my bundles. I had a lot to plant so this was a cost efficient way for me to do it! I already have some planted and will post updates after they grow!

I purchased the 50 count of Liriope and to my surprise there were more than 62 individual plants. A few clumps were too large and needed separating and a couple were dead but after sorting them I planted a total of 65. I wish I had taken a picture of how they came in the box and how healthy they looked. However, they arrived a few days earlier than the date given and they were delivered to the wrong address and they sat in the heat for a day and a half. Seller can't be faulted for that. At any rate, these pictures were taken 3 days after planting. They are definitely worth the price as long as you plant them in decent soil and weather conditions.

Seller refused to allow me to return. I wanted variegated lirope, but this isn’t that. It took a little over a week before we could put these in the ground and more than half were visibly dead, despite being watered every day since receiving. All other plants (we are landscaping a new home and have bought a lot this year) have still been alive after a few days.
