Best Item I Have ever Assembled
I'd buy this again just for the satisfaction of having a kit with: a) expert packaging b) clear and concise instructions c) ease of assembly d) the best hardware packaging/layout I have ever seen e) every piece of hardware was included in the kit - nothing missing.The photo illustrates the hardware packaging. Everything was there. Nothing missing, no extras. Perfect.This item arrived several after the estimated delivery date. According to the seller's tracking information it was shipped from China so I knew it would not be here in three days as indicated by the estimated arrival date.I purchased this elliptical on the basis of price and the fact that all but one of the reviews were 5 stars. I bought this for my wife. I'm too big and heavy for it so I just use the professional ones at the gym. The pedal stride is not long enough for me but I knew this in advance. Plus my weight would probably cause longevity issues. Professional ellipticals go for a few thousand dollars and this was less than $300 so I knew exactly what I was purchasing. I expect that it will be perfect for my wife.A couple of tips:1 - I would suggest using the tools supplied with the kit for assembly. It will prevent over-tightening of the components.2 - Read the instructions and check hardware quantities against the hardware pack (as shown in photo).3 - The instructions will list several pieces of hardware not shown/provided in the hardware pack. These items will be found already on various components.4 - the LEFT pedal assembly which connects to the flywheel is a LEFT-HAND THREAD. I tried to test the locknut on the bolt in advance and it wouldn't thread. Then I saw that the instructions clearly indicated it was a left-hand thread. That is why the locknuts and the large bolts for the crank assembly are packaged in separate areas and the locknuts are color-coded.5 - When assembling the large T piece to the bottom main piece the instructions recommend having someone help you. They are correct. I almost obliterated the electrical cord in the assembly trying to do it by myself.

Complete disappointment. Resistance does not change from one setting to another, feels like pedaling a bicycle with no chain. A waste of $270

Like it more than I thought I would. If you put it together right, its pretty quiet. Does the job. Decent machine for the price.

Defective monitor
We are happy with the elliptical itself, except that the monitor is defective. After several attempts to remedy the situation (emailing, sending pictures), the seller has done nothing to accommodate our requests for a new monitor.
