Just got the thing and started filling it... have to say its bigger than I expected. It's nice looking. It feels great. It has lots of padding. It has nice and good sized pockets. Whaaaa! I'm super impressed. I like how there are no wierd feet on the bottom of the bag.As you can see I have a large sized lock box, can fit several more boxes of ammo, have 2 ear muffs, ear plugs, magazines, targets, glasses,binoculars, and theres plenty more room!I'm stoked on the purchase.

*** UPDATE: 6/30/2020 --- I received a replacement for the bag, and unfortunately right after my return period ended, the zipper in the main compartment broke off again. My suggestion is since this is the main compartment that the manufacturer quality controls those zippers/pulls. Sure the side compartments will not have as much action as the main compartment, so they may get away with not researching those sections. However, the main compartment is 0 for 2 for me. Otherwise the bag can carry my ammo, eyes and ears, cleaning kit, and obviously my two Glocks for the range. ***For the size and the number of compartments, I give it 3 stars. It looks like it will handle the job each time I shoot. However, within the first few seconds of zipping the top main compartment, one of the zippers fell off. Granted there are two zippers, and they can join and be locked together with a separate lock. As it's Covid-19 time, and folks aren't supposed to head of out the house (AKA rebox this and head to a place to return it) I might just have to live with the single zipper for the top main compartment.It fits my portable handgun vault, ear protection, eye protection, spare magazines, boxes of ammo, cleaning kit, holsters, etc. One of the long sides has a mat to display your various morale patches. Even with my portable vault in the main compartment, there are two velcro dividers that I can move/attach at either end, to separate two small sections (currently for storing my spare holsters, just to keep together is this bag.Just bummed about the faulty zipper.

This pack is well made and stitched solidly. The material is strong and should last for many years. When I was younger, I did a lot of hunting, but I'm older and much fraailer than I was, so almost all my targets now are either paper or gongs, and this bag suits my current needs perfectly. I have several pistols now, but rarely take more than 3 when I go shooting, so everything fits into the bag perfectly (even ammo and targets). When I shoot targets (rather than the gongs) I place the "self stick" targets on a cardboard box I carry separetly. So far, so good! I expect this bag to last for years, but I will post any problems (if any) I have, so this review will evolve if have any. If you don't see any additional comments, it will be because everything is still good.

I ordered and returned 4 bags to Amazon before this one, in the search for the right gear.There are better quality bags out there, but this one has a configuration that I like, and it won out overall.I would described it as in the upper strata of a mid-level quality for this type of bag on Amazon.Pro’s:- Configuration:This bag uses a high sided rectangular main compartment (+) with dual top parallel opening zippers (+).It has attached compartments of various useful sizes on all four sides of the main compartment. (+)There is a drop out side panel for a range pad. (+)They have included several padded areas for ‘heavy’ things to be stored safely. (+)The main compartment sports a padded divider (lengthwise) that is removable with full length Velcro attachment points. (+)***All of these details were a happy find as not all bags have this in this price range/size.- Color: I was impressed to find they carried this in gray, which is what I was looking for. (+) this color has been difficult to find in a bag that I want, or is generally unavailable or out of stock.- Quality- while not A+ qualityconstruction/materials, this bag still does exceed most of the mid range cost offerings available.Decent cordura type fabric, the add proclaims ‘600’ designation thread count. Good on Amazon for this, they really have upped the shipping game of the industry!Con’s:- Quality: (Yep, on the Cons list as well.)Initial impressions: DID NOT SHIP NEW!Re-wrapped with what looked like a shrink wrap bag and packing tape, no labels or documentation.It was so haphazardly stuffed into the package that there were DURABLE CREASES on all surfaces of the bag as well as deep creases in the integral padding. (It looked like it had been at the bottom of a very heavy pile for months.)A small thing, but when I get stuff from a seller in this condition, I can’t help thinking this should have a ‘Thrift Store’ discount.Sellers!!! If you are going to resend opened gear, give a discount or make some kind of effort to recondition your product so as to not lower the initial presentation level to the end consumer. PLEASE.Construction:- this did have good double seams on most mating surfaces, but not everywhere.- Not listed as water resistant.- Bag compartments are lined with a lower quality fabric. Great bag. Holds a lot of guns, magazines, ammo -- you name it, it fits. Great value, great quality. Eye protection, ear protection, targets -- load it ALL in there. If anything -- and this isn't a complaint! -- it holds too much! I've loaded it with quite a bit of ammo for the range, magazines, pistols ... the thing was heavy! And it held it all. Very pleased.

Hey, there are a whole bunch of range bags out there, so I just chose this one because it had side pockets and hoped for the best...and got the best. This thing is built like a fabric tank, has more empty spaces than a politician's brain and more zippers than the Levis factory. Hilariously over-built. The quality of the material and the sturdiness of the zippers are mind-boggling at this price point. Can easily fit two pistols and all associated gear and have plenty of room left over. Indeed, it would make a pretty neat overnight travel bag. So, there are a lot of range bags out there, but you won't go wrong if you select this one.

The media could not be loaded.  Was a a bit concerned when it first showed up as it seemed to be very small. However it was just vacuum sealed very densely for packing reasons. After getting it to normal size was very impressed with size and quality. Your not spending $300 on a range bag but doesn’t seem to be any real issues. Material quality is good. LOTS of pockets and room. Even with pockets on all four sides the main compartment is still more then big enough for a very large handgun case, ammo box , ear muffs and has a bit of room to spare.A bit tight zipping it all up (more height wise than anything) but definitely doable and would estimate 90% of other bags in this price range wouldn’t fit it properly unless it was the only thing in main compartment. Has a lot of nice padded smaller pockets and compartments as well for everything else.

Overall, for what they're charging, it's not a bad bag. From a picky point of view...the zippers are cheap, the fabric is thin, the shoulder strap isn't really strong, comfortable or adjustable (it goes from knee height to dragging on ground, and I'm not short), and the dividers are just thin velcro'd panels. Basically it's bulk shipping container quality. My main range bag is 200x stronger, more secure, with a nice padded strap and solid compartments...of course I paid 4x as much so hard to fault this one too much. Just don't expect a pro-level range bag for this price and you won't be disappointed. (oh and I thought the red paracord pulls looked really cheesy so swapped them out for a subdued colour).

The media could not be loaded.  When I got the package I was a bit concern as it was small and flat. But once I opened it and saw the inside of the bag, I was totally fine. The bag is perfect, fit all of my stuff, plus I had lots of room left to add whatever else I may need in the future! I strongly recommend this bag!

Great bag - well made and TONS of room. For those Canadians looking to use this as a range bag for your pistol - yes there is a lockable compartment. Really can’t go wrong with this bad for the price.

Amazing bagGreat material, well built had a minor issue with the zipper string falling off. Fixed it by compressing the metal C with pliers. More than enough room. Can easily fit 1000 rounds, 10 mags, my colt model 70 1911, my tactical belt, paper work and still have more room. Best bang for your buck!
