Depends on the application
I really thought that these would work for our purposes. I'm actually quite confident in them for less strenuous applications. We thought they'd work to hold up the sunscreens that we added to our RV cover. The connections quickly failed. I didn't want to give them the lowest rating, I only wanted to issue a warning to potential buyers. They might not be as strong as you might hope. Granted, our monsoon winds give things a run for their money but we had to find an alternate set-up. So, the bottom line IMO is to read the other reviewers for successful uses of these cables. Just don't expect more of them than they are capable of handling. (The rubber bungees that we first tried rotted in our Arizona sun in less than 6 months, and that was winter time! Our current setup is using strong chain. Hope it holds!)

Small, but mighty
I'm using these for a rather unconventional purpose. These are keeping my refrigerator locked so my munchkins can't get in and snack overnight. They don't fit traditional sized padlocks very well - the loops on the end are tiny - but I'm getting a set of mini locks that will be much better. The kids haven't gotten in once since I've used these! Now I don't have to wonder what sort of mess I'll wake up to in the mornings!!!

Used to extend bird feeder away for the squirrels reach. Worked great when looped together

Worked in a small space
I needed a way to lock out a tub in the utility room. This worked great because it is small and flexible. Definitely solved the problem and was a value for the money.

the pack of four was not what it seemed
It is labelled as a pack of four, and the actual package when it arrived also was labelled as four. Unfortunately it only had three cables in it. As it was bought to hang two pictures, this is not super useful and I now have to buy another pack or a different product.
