Campground Movie Nights = Unlocked!
I bought this HDMI to USB-C cable to hook up my projector at the campground, and let me tell you — it turned the great outdoors into a great movie theater. I plugged it into my phone and connected it to the projector, and boom — instant entertainment under the stars. The picture quality was crisp and clear, no lag, no weird flickering, and no tech rage required (a miracle, really). It worked perfectly right out of the box — no extra apps, no drama, just plug and play like it should be. We watched movies, played games, and even streamed karaoke (apologies to the other campers). It held up great even with a little dirt and dust around — and the connection was solid the whole time. If you're looking to bring movie magic to your tent life, this little cable is the real MVP. S’mores, stars, and cinema — what more do you need?

Perfect for Steaming
One of our smart TVs works well but it is older and doesn’t allow casting or screen mirroring. I purchased this so I could stream Apple Fitness from my phone to the TV. It is an easy, inexpensive solution for TVs that don’t allow casting but are otherwise functional. Great purchase.

Sturdy and reasonably priced
This is a sturdy and reasonably priced product. I used it to connect my laptop to a second screen. Its very sturdy. Theres no lag or delay in the picture Its very long, at 6'. Keep that in mind when ordering. Its flexible but still rough to put away in case you need to roll it up. Don't this its for travel

Unstable HDMI cable that completely fails real-world 2.1 performance
This cable promises big numbers on the listing, but in real use it has been a mess of instability, dropped signals, and constant second-guessing whether the problem is the device or the cord. On paper you get 8K@60 and 4K at very high refresh rates, but the actual behavior is nowhere close to that once you start pushing anything beyond basic 4K60. The first red flag shows up the moment you try high refresh 4K. With a capable graphics card and a proper HDMI 2.1 display, 4K120 should be straightforward, yet this line constantly drops to 4K60, flickers, or randomly black screens for a second and comes back. VRR and high-refresh gaming completely fall apart: the picture will cut out mid-match, the screen goes dark as if the cable is being unplugged, and then it comes back with the refresh rate mysteriously reset. Trying to hold 4K120 or higher is a constant battle with handshake failures and re-negotiation. Even at more “normal” settings, it’s not trustworthy. At 4K60 with HDR, there are occasional random black frames, flashes, or a quick “no signal” message on the TV/monitor before the image returns. That might sound minor, but when you’re watching a movie, doing work, or using it as a main display cable, it’s extremely distracting. Input devices feel fine one minute, and the next the screen is dropping out for no reason. The whole thing feels like you’re working on top of a weak connection that could glitch at any moment. Color and HDR behavior are a mess too. Enabling full HDR frequently forces weird color banding, crushed blacks, or overbright highlights that don’t happen with a different HDMI 2.1 line on the exact same setup. Sometimes the system insists on limiting the color range or dropping to 8-bit, even when both endpoints support higher quality. Toggle HDR on and off a few times and the screen will occasionally freak out, flicker, or handshake all over again before settling into some random mode that doesn’t match what was selected. The physical construction is not nearly as confidence-inspiring as the pictures suggest. The cable is quite stiff and doesn’t like to bend around the back of a TV or monitor stand. That stiffness translates into strain on the ports, especially on lighter devices like tablets or slim laptops. On top of that, the connectors never feel fully locked in — a slight movement of the device or cable can cause a tiny shift that’s enough to trigger a momentary signal loss. For something meant to carry a sensitive high-bandwidth signal, that loose, wiggly feeling is the last thing you want. Using this line across different devices exposes even more inconsistency. With a console on a modern TV, it sometimes recognizes the full HDMI 2.1 feature set, sometimes not. One boot you get 4K120 and VRR options, the next boot they’re grayed out and the system complains about the connection. On a PC monitor, similar behavior: sometimes the display reports the proper capabilities, other times you’re stuck at 4K60 or need to unplug and replug just to get the mode you had previously. It feels like rolling the dice every time things power on. If any of this was happening at the edge of what HDMI 2.1 can do, it might be easier to excuse. But the fact that it struggles even at relatively modest settings tells you everything you need to know about the underlying quality. Other cables in the same setup handle 4K120 HDR with VRR all day without a hiccup. Swap in this one, and suddenly there are black screens, renegotiations, color issues, and “no signal” messages. The common denominator is pretty obvious. In the end, the whole experience is exactly what you don’t want from something as basic yet critical as a display line. You shouldn’t have to dive into menus, reboot devices, and replug connectors just to get the resolution and refresh rate you actually paid your hardware for. This overpromises with big specs in the description and underdelivers in every meaningful way once it’s actually in use.

Great piece of kit! Easy to use just plug and play! Bought for our cruise as we were aware the internet wasn’t going to be great. Used this to connect iPad to the tv for pre downloaded shows. Connection was great and therefore I can not complain regarding sound or picture. Works as should and great price!
