I've been wanting to try a gel eye mask after seeing them! I have really poor sleep and my eyes tend to ache. I need a comfortable eye mask that will also block out light. I'm excited to try this mask!Update:the eye mask helped make my headache go away after straining my eyes from staring at a screen for too long. It's very cooling and soft. I like how it has an adjustable band and the color is very nice. It also blocks all light out so can be used for sleeping.

My elderly father has glaucoma and his eyes run tears a lot. After reading that warm moisture from a warming cooling eye mask or a cooling eye mask will help soothe the eye, I purchased this brand after reading the reviews. So far, they work great for him. He really loves the convenience that he can strap it on and does not have to hold the mask with his hand for 20 or 25 minutes. His caregivers stated they have seen his temperament is much better when talking about how discomfort his eye is and holding it. I recommend this eye mask as for those who need the convenience of warming a mask to wear over their eyes for soothing and relaxation. Sure is much softer on the eye vs using a washcloth that is heated in the microwave. Thus far, we as his family are very pleased with the product.

I had a surgery procedure on my eyes and used this mask, it worked perfectly!It was comfortable and covered the whole eye area, no plastic which irritates the skin, stayed cool for the 15 minutes I needed and with the Velcro strap it was so easy to adjust comfortably around my head. There are plenty of masks to choose from, but the kind with internal beads is a much better choice for my purposes.The differences are these:The others that are filled with a gel, without individual beads, will freeze rock-solid and won't mold to your face unless you let them thaw out first, or you put them in the freezer *ahead of time* and take them out while still pliable.The beads allow you to press/smush/mold this to your face in order to apply the cold/hot to where it is needed. For me this is a specific area around my eyes that needs to be very cold and it works well.It stays cold for as long as I need for my particular situation which is about 15-20 minutes. I can't speak to whether it will last longer because I've only worn it for less than 20 minutes.Before I bought this, I used the instant-cold-packs where you break the little bubble inside and the two chemicals mix to create a little baggie of cold like an ice-pack. That worked okay, but the cold-packs only stayed cold for about 10 minutes, and the other drawback of instant-cold-packs are that they are fairly hard to mold to your face compared to this eye-mask.My only small complaint (and why I rated this as 4-stars instead of 5-stars) is that some of the little beads inside this mask had burst either before or during shipment and the loose gel inside the mask makes some of the beads stick together, which makes it slightly more difficult to smush around. If not for that, this would be a 5-star product. I can't imagine the quality control necessary to ensure there are no burst beads would be worth the hassle and cost. As it is, I can deal with the gel from a few burst beads at this price-point.One word of caution, though would be to not leave this on so long as to cause frostbite. Since I only leave this on a maximum of 20-minutes, it's not an issue. It does, however, feel colder than 32°F when it comes out of my freezer, and on my face it feels like it could cause frostbite if I left it on too long. So don't do that.

Amazing product! Stays cold for a good amount of time and really helps with the puffiness under my eyes. It also blocks out all sun possible, so is nice to fall asleep with! Extremely comfortable especially because of the soft inside. If you’re looking for a cooling eye mask and have time to sit down for 10-15 this is great for you, if you are busier and looking for something where you’ll still be able to do something would suggest one with eye holes!

This eye mask is exactly what I needed. It helps with my migraines and headaches and general eye puffiness. It’s really soft on one side so it feels nice on the face. You can flip it to use the plastic side for cold/very cold and then the soft side for cool/cold. The soft side definitely gets cold enough though to provide a lot of relief. The only thing to note is that the mask gets icy and hard if you leave it in the freezer for a while/overnight. If you choose to do so, be more gentle with it until it warms up and honestly gentle with it in general because mine just broke after about a week and a half. You can pop it in the freezer for 30 minutes and it gets pretty cold as well as stays cold for a while too. Overall, I like this mask and it has been helpful for me when the plastic didn’t crack.

This thing is my best friend! Jenny and Hary were right! Hot or cold this gel mask is the best! It helps takeaway my migraines instantly. It’s durable but not hulk strong, it’s hekoed me work late hours from work and school and just day to day sinus allergy pressure. It’s my savior. The sellers are truly the best and they cared enough to ask me how everything was and if I had any issues not to hesitate to contact them. I have been using this for a couple weeks now and highly recommend it. It's great because you can use it either cold (from the freezer) or warm (from the microwave). I have dry eyes which get red very easily, especially if I'm working on my computer for a while. Initially, I thought using the mask cold would be best, but quite the opposite is true. While the cold mask does feel great, I find using it warm to be much more healing and makes my dry eyes feel much better.

I love the construction and materials. It feels very relaxing applying it on eyebags. Will see how it fairs over continuous usage. There is even a lovely satin blindfold for keeping out the light for sleeping.
