These are a useful bit of kit for keeping the mud off. The down size of these particular Gaiters is that they can't be adjusted as much as they need to be. perhaps they had men in mind but the stirrup part can only be adjusted on one side and the other side is fixed. The only adjustment is made with a velcro loop which still leaves them too long despite being at their shortest resulting in them catching on the ground as you walk. The tightening loops below the knee also don't close small enough but as my legs are not thin it is just about workable.. Overall they are a bit too big so probably more suited to a man. howeverthey are cheap and seem to be wearing well. I have cut off the stirrup straps to no detriment to the effectiveness of the gaiters.

These have a velcro strap on them that do not fit the product no matter what footwear you are wearing. The strap is loose and eventually un does itself and flaps around and gets covered in muck, the only option is to cut them off which renders the product loose on your legs. A WORD OF ADVICE: do not buy stuff like this online, go to a proper outdoor shop and try them out. These are a waste of money and if you buy something else you still can’t tell if you will have a similar problem.

Have been using for the past few weeks on my lunchtime walks across varying terrains, and have been happily surprised by the ease of adjustment and relative comfort of these gaiters. They offer good protection from splashes (mud, puddles, snow, slush, and the occasional cow pat!), clawing grasses and vegetation, even managed to keep my lower legs dry after being splashed by a motorist. Very easy to wipe down and clean, but special attention must be given to the under strap and Velcro as they can become quite clogged with debris, still relatively easy to clean. All in all for the price, a pretty darned good buy!

We sent away for these before our walk at Christmas and were so glad we did. They are easy to put in and take off. They protect your leg from brambles and also crossing muddy and wet areas. Couldn’t believe they would work so well for the price. Excellent t price of kit.

Tough and durable gaiters. They fit snuggly on a flat, ascending and hopping down rocks. Used them to keep out deep snow, bog water and recently big foamy waves. I wear them over a pair of very bulky Garmont 4 season boots and there are no issues with fit. The Velcro seems extremely durable. Have been submerged past the ankle in mud / bogs / snow and had no issues with leakage. Especially good in snow.

Value for money wise, these could of been great gaiters, but for one problem. After quite minimal use the Velcro strip to the front of the gaiter started tearing along the stitching rendering the items useless. Thankfully Amazon being the fantastic customer driven company that they are, refunded my payment promptly and with issue. But I must admit, I've replaced the faulty gaiters with some dearer ones from Karimor. They don't seem half the good design of my originals, let alone the value. Only time will tell eh?!

Bought these for an overnight snow camp. Impressed with the quality and appearance of the product. As someone else has commented though, on day two of walking the bottom velcro (connecting the plastic sole-strap to the other side) started to become unstuck, and rarely held together. The rest of the design held gaiters in place when walking calmly, but it was very annoying to have to keep trying to refasten the velcro.

Good quality there just a tad large I’m a size 44 boot and large in size . !. Easy to put on is there plus point.
