Half Body Belt

Quilty Good.

This safety belt is well made and comfortable. It is very light weight and easy to adjust to fit. It does not include a lanyard, so the purchaser must acquire that separately. I needed to paint a radio tower, and I did not want to use my leather lineman's belt, which cost four times as much and weighs probably ten times as much. This belt was perfect for the job, and the fact that after thoroughly inspecting it, I was willing to bet my life on it, speaks for my confidence in it.

I will most likely be buying a more expensive saddle but this one let me try out my gear to see if I even liked climbing. It very comfortable, spent hours at a time in it with no discomfort. Stitching is good and tight, materials are all holding up well. Steel D-rings do chew up aluminum carabiners. Only things i can't live with is that 1. there are no buckles so it's very difficult for me to get in and out of 2. the belt slips (loosens up) with horizontal pull, like when I'm trying to traverse out a limb while tied to the trunk and load is on the center D, my belt gets loose. Stays put as long as the load is vertical or load is on side D's like on flipline. If not for those dislikes I would probably just stay in this saddle no more than I actually climb.

I have some tree triming to do, and I already have a safety harness, but I got this one as a backup because my other one is so hard to clip the safety line to due to it being on the back of the harness and it's really difficult to reach. I think when I cut this tree, I'll probably be up and down the tree a lot and need to connect/disconnect many times, so I didn't want to need to keep reaching all the way behind my back every time.I used it while on the roof to help take down an electrical periscope that has to move, and it felt secure and safe.I don't intend to rely 100% on it by swinging off of the tree, but I don't forsee it being a problem if I do end up falling accidentally; I'm sure this will hold me.I'm glad this company is offering the product and it doesn't cost more than it is.

The media could not be loaded. This is a perfect entry level harness to find out if you like climbing, feels secure and comfortable. The price is right too, we have since upgraded but still use these to bring friends with us.

It fits okay, though it's a bit tough to tighten down the straps to where you want. I did feel it fit well enough however. It wasn't "very comfortable" but it'll probably break in and feel better.Now the biggest issue I have is that I purchased for fall prevention. I purchased everything to 25KN or better, and was extremely disappointed that the safety rating is misrepresented in the product details; it's rated only 60% of the stated rating! There's a big difference - which could be the difference between life and death or severe injury - between 25KN and just 15KN. Since I needed it for a project the weekend after I received it, I had to "make do" but never felt 100% safe as a result.

Great product works as should but I wouldn’t use it as a everyday thing .. great for weekend tree Warriors .. it’s light weight very comfortable and even had my top handle saw hanging from it with no discomfort… … in the future I will invest in something higher end but for now if you on a budget this will get it done ! I wouldn’t climb a 100ft tree with it but 50-60 ft I feel safe enough with it .. as a weekend tree guy

I was looking for something lightweight and comfortable for doing some tree cutting, and it exceeds my expectations for both! It is much better put together than I was expecting for the price. I like that all the critical attachment points are metal. I purchased it for a one time job, but now I expect to get many years of service from it. Well worth the money!
