Not Recommended
Have tried to use these since Christmas. The glove heating element itself is warm - if it works. But, it rarely works because the battery and wiring to the glove are poorly designed. The two batteries for each glove do not fit in the pouch on the glove. The connectors for those batteries do not fit in the same pouch. The wires for the batteries and connectors are too short, get bent easily, and turn off the power when they are also crammed into the way too small pouch meant to hold batteries, connectors, and wires. Bottom line: by the time you cram all those electric bits in, the power often quits when you move your hand. All I need to fix this is a seamstress and redesigned electrical connections. Not recommended.

It broke quickly
When it worked, it was fine, very good even. However, one glove liner soon began to exhaust its battery immediately and I suspected a short. A little exploration revealed bare wires from the heating element to the battery that touched. I wrote the company but received no response.

Love these gloves so far. Nice heat!!
I bought these when it was still warm out, and haven't actually used them to any extent, so I can't speak to how long the battery lasts. But I do think that the gloves are a great material and appear to be made well. I did charge up the battery, tried on the gloves and they both turn on and I'm very impressed with how warm these gloves get. Seems like you'd be able to use them outside on high setting without another pair of gloves but they are supposed to be glove liners and I got them for snowmobiling to wear under my snowmobile gloves. They get pretty hot which will be perfect for what I want them for. I will say that the company took some of the other reviewers complaints to heart because I agree that the batteries could never fit in the battery compartment sleeve in the glove. It's a tight squeeze and you'd be bending wires. So they included the wire extender so that the cord is longer and you don't have to shove the battery into the battery sleeve on the gloves. Others said the gloves worked well at first but stopped after a few uses, I will try to review that issue further once Ive had the opportunity to really use them, but straight out of the box they work great.

UNSATISFACTORY resolution to defective battery heated gloves
I am extremely dis-satisfied with the Glovi battery heated gloves and DBROTH. Although the gloves were recommended by a friend who is now on her second pair. I had a bad experience. The glove worked when I immediately charged them up upon getting the. Then did not workwhen I went on two ski trips after that. I communicated with DBROTH to let him know they were defective and askedto return them. I was told "No" that I need to take it up with the manufacturer. I would have appreciated him standing behind his product with at least an exchange.Beware..... these are a new and improved 2014 model.... but..... better buy the newest model directly from the manufacturer if possible.I won't be ordering from DBROTH again.

Nice heat, too slim design
Pro--the heating elements work nicely--keep fingers just barely warm without feeling hot. This is a glove LINER, though, so unless you have another layer outside of them (I use mittens), the rest of your hand will feel the cold. Fine by me as long as my fingers are not numb and burning!Con--they are sized by length of hand, not circumference as many other gloves are. If you have squarish hands, they may be too narrow if sized by length. For me, they are impossible to pull on with the battery in place, and if I put them on without the battery (still somewhat difficult), it is impossible to insert the battery into its pocket. I slip the battery between my wrist and the glove cuff and cinch up the elastic closure and that works OK. I may install Velcro to attach the battery to the outside of the glove. If I had it to do again, I think I would pay a little bit more and get a full-up glove that I could just put on and go.

Defective Switch
These gloves arrived promptly and worked as advertised when first tried. Wonderful warmth in frigid temperatures. The first time my hands--I have Renaud's Syndrome--felt comfortable for an extended time in cold weather. However, the third time I tried the gloves, the switch on the left glove failed. I have filed a claim with the manufacturer. We will see how they respond.
