Very interesting book! I loved how she shares her personal story, and the takes us on the journey to understand and learn about the messages from spirit.

She writes the best stuff. Very interesting and entertaining. She knows how to keep your interest and still maintain the integrity of the topic. I recommend this book to anyone who is searching for a higher spiritual self.

I enjoyed the book. The interesting thing, however, is that if you have never experienced the ways in which Spirit communicates, you're likely to be very confused by this book. You most likely won't see it's merit. Mrs. Baron Reid clearly invites you to take what works for you and leave the rest. I was delighted to find that one of her 'tea leaves' reading techniques worked for coffee. I enjoyed the book and her 'shares' of the expressions of Spirit in her personal experience. It can be used as a reference guide but more than anything it illustrates how personalized Spirit can be. Some things resonated. Some things didn't. Your walk is always and will always be uniquely your own.. Until I read this book, I had no idea she had a t.v. show in Canada. Truly fascinating stuff.

I really enjoyed this book. It has a lot of good information about signs around us in our daily lives. It encourages us to be more aware and our eyes open. Sometimes things are more then just a coincidence. I learned quite a bit from this book. Some of the information is good for reference later as well.

Informs you more about the other world signs and messages. Beautifully written

I was very excited to read this book, because I loved Colette's first book,"Remembering the Future". However, I was disappointed in this book for several reasons. First, much of the book is her telling stories and examples of seeing signs in her own life. I believe she has, but she's really psychic, so I expect that. I was hoping to read more how regular folks like me might understand how to see these things. Second, there was some redundancy from her first book. But the biggest problem seemed to be that she really didn't have enough ideas & material to make a strong second book, but published one anyway. So many times in this genre, someone writes a great first book, but then they come out with a whole string of other books, and they're never as good as the first. At times it seemed she was really grasping for anything to fill the pages. There's some good material in it, but you have to wade through the filler.

Colette's new book is just one more of what I hope will be her many gifts to us her readers. Like Colette, the humor, authenticity, and grounded realism combine with her intuitive/psychic/medium gifts and experience to create what I consider a great handbook on listening to Spirit in a variety of ways. One of Colette's core philosophies in her first book was that we all can tap into and listen to Spirit. It is truly about remembering how to do so. Messages from Spirit is one of those books you'll read through once, and you'll come back to it again and again for the reference material that she includes on symbols and signs. And it's filled with Colette's fun and personal style that has made her work accessible to so many of us that believe that life can be practical, soulful, and fun!! Thanks, Colette!

I am giving this 3 stars because I was overall disappointed with this book, as I felt it was promising a great deal. It is very kind and there is much wonderful storytelling of the author's interesting life.But this did not have very much instruction and is a very basic book who's basic message is: "spirit talks to you through everything." I have begun paying more attention as a result, but I didn't need a history of the oracle or a lot of the filler content. I wish there was more substance so I could finish it. Still have at least 1/4 left.Will probably push through but I lost interest amidst the very very basic content as I was hoping for a manual.

This book is full of lovely vignettes ...I love the author's style too. I also feel so humbled by her experiences.

i love all of her books, she has written. they are very interesting and helpful for me to unterstand myself better than many other books I've read.
