WEWOM 2 replacement earpads for Sony MDR V500DJ, V500, V55 and BR DJ headphones

I have had a pair of Sony MDR-V500 headphones for some years, but the soft vinyl covering of the ear pads had 'rotted' such that when I wore them, I got black flakes on my ears with resulting strange looks - the earpads didn't feel worn out. So I got these replacement ones. They were easy to fit (you just have to ease them into a groove around the outer edge of the ear cups) and are exactly like the originals. So I suppose they may rot in time, but they weren't expensive compared with the cost of the earphones. They're not that comfortable after wearing them for hours but certainly no worse than the originals.

Wish I had thought to look for replacement earpads before - thrown away two perfectly good pairs over the last couple of years due to the pads going (that's over £100 thrown away). These are as good as the originals and really easy to fit. Don't be put off by the initial look of their size - they will easily fit with just a little patience.Couldn't be happier - unless the seller decides to refund me my payment :)

Does the job. My Sony are back to their original best.
