Not impressed
Received the electric milk frother today looks and feels really well made and very stylish ,It heats the milk up very quickly and froths the milk up well the problem I find with it is when you fill the milk up to the max line and heat the milk up then pour the milk in to my cappuccino cup it’s about an inch short of full then you have to start again frothing more milk up which seems to be a bit long winded in making a cappuccino and also I find it leaves a film in the inside so is it nonestick hmm,Would I buy another one sorry no ,

Don't expect coffee shop microfoam
I'd been umming and ahhing over several options for heating or steaming milk... from the budget level, like this one, up to professional Dualit milk steamers for £200. Sense prevailed and as a starting point I thought I'd go for the cheaper option to start with. But you know what they say... buy cheap, buy twice.First up, the purpose I have for it. I have a Kompresso (Aeropress-a-like for esperesso coffee) in the office and really wanted to be able to make my own simple lattes in the office without having to resort to a full blown espresso maker with steam wand. I wasn't expecting perfect microfoam for latte art, just a reasonable, aerated and heated milk. The unit itself is fine. It's easy to operate, easy to clean and the capacity is okay (200ml max). I've not used the frothing disk that comes with the unit, as that would limit the capacity to 100ml and I don't want cappuccino foam, so I can't comment on that.Heating - it does heat milk, but not to the purported 65 degrees. It heats somewhat below this level. Drinkable, but you would basically have to drink the coffee in one shot and not have it sit around too long! This is a bit annoying. I had hoped the negative reviews over its heating were exaggerated by people expecting it to be boiling, where I am content with the idea of 65 degrees for my lattes (like my home machine does). So, strike one.Foaming - as I say, I've not used the cappuccino disk to whip up the milk. It seems for that purpose it's pretty decent, but I don't want Mr Whippy style foam, I want a nice dense microfoam. The unit does okay on this score. Not great, nowhere near the foam I'd like from a simple heat and whisk operation, but I wasn't expecting miracles. It's drinkable.Cleaning and operation - simple as you like. To be fair, this is good. It's a non-stick affair which just needs a soft scour after use to get the sticky milk off the surface. The foaming wand bit is just plastic and a rinse and wipe is sufficient to clean that up. Operation is two buttons - heat or foam. If you don't want to heat the foam, it's just a double tap of the foam button to get cold foam. Simple.Overall... it's probably fine for the folks who want cold or warm foam. For espresso makers wanting to make up a latte... I'd suggest you pass and look at alternative options. Me, I think I might be looking at Nespresso Aeroccino or something more elaborate!

Excellent value for money
Bought this item based on the other reviews on amazon and so far it's been brilliant. It's very easy to use. I have a Dolce Gusto krupps coffee pod machine so the addition of a stand alone milk frother is so much better than microwaving milk (no more horrible skin on the milk!).It is perfect for warmed milk and even with the frother attachment removed there is still a nice amount of froth which is (for me) just enough for my coffee. The frother part is amazing! It's so thick it's actually more like merangue (using semi skimmed milk). It's very dense and will literally balance a sugar cube on top its that thick! The magnetic induction method is quiet and fast, exactly as the in depth instructions describe. The temperature is on average about 60'c which is actually spot on. It did say it can be +/- 10'c from 65'c be so far its been consistent. One plus side of this machine is its ability to make the famous new zealand "fluffies" (warm milk but essentially just thick foam for kids). Sprinkle it with hundreds and thousands for that "unicorn" look!Overall (based on using it two to three times a day over a weeks use) it's excellent and ticks all the boxes. I can't fault it.Cleaning is easy. Rinse lid immediately after use under the tap, small amount of liquid soap on the inside with a sponge and hot water to clean the milk residue (there's always a thin milk layer on part of the bottom) but as long as you wash immediately after use (don't submerge in water) it's cleans up very easily. Air dry or simply wipe down for the outside.Only thing to remember is DON'T fill it over the max line for frothing because it will froth over the edge and if you only use the frother occasionally (personally there's enough froth from just heating) just keep the spring frother somewhere safe because it could be easily lost if you forget to refit it once washed up.Overall highly recommend.

Perfect milk very time
This makes the perfect froth for cappuccino or lattes. The milk is at a good temperature and the bubbles from the froth is light and creamy. Works best with full fat milk. Makes enough hot milk and froth for 2 cups at a time. It's easy to clean. Just run it under the tap. The wisk is not that noisy unlike other machines I have use. They company also has excellent customer services. Replied to emails within minute. Very happy with purchase.

Really pleased with it until it broke...
I was really pleased with this milk frother when it first arrived. Very easy to use and froths milk very quickly . However, it was tricky to clean as you can't immerse it in water and have to just wipe it out carefully after each use. Sadly, on using it for the fourth time when I put it on the base to power it there was a pop and a smell of electrical burning and it stopped working. Had to return it for a refund.

Dense consistency – most important to me
Easy to clean as the frother is incorporated in the lid and not in the base. Does not spill over if correct amount of milk put in. Reasonably priced.

Very easy to operate.
This automatic milk frother is really nice stuff. I had one got Present but I couldn’t get the same one. This one bit expensive but I would say quality is great. It has standard capacity 200ml for hot milk. Very easy to operate even for first time user. Also cleaning is very easy.Power cord is bit smaller. Although I have no issue about it. It is 450watts which pretty much other household stuff.
