I got this for my Summit 600 and it's a great fit. I was initially concerned that it wouldn't be good because it's so much lighter and thinner than my original Weber Summit 600 cover. That old cover started cracking and letting water in after 8 years outside, so I ordered this as a replacement thinking it was the same.This is a much thinner material, so the cover itself is a lot lighter and takes up a lot less space when put away. We've been having rain here over the past month and it's definitely waterproof! So far it's doing it's job. We'll see how it handled the sun in the summer, hopefully this will hold up at least for the next 8+ years.My only complaint is the stuff sack that is attached. The problem is it's attached on a strip of fabric. The way it hangs off the back of the grill allows it to catch water so it fills up and needs to be dumped out. Weird design and a flawed design in my opinion, but you can cut it off and not need to worry so no stars off for that. I'll update the review if I find durability problems as it gets used.

Perfect fit and very well built heavy cover

After 6 years I finally replaced the Weber vinyl-like cover I bought with the grill. It was cracked in several spots and very awkward to put on with just one person and kind of awkward with two. It was looking ratty. Though I just got the replacement today I can't comment on the longevity of the cover but I can say that it went on waaay easier than the other one. The material is much more fabric-like and very flexible. Also I don't think this material will crack. Weber must think it's pretty good because they give it a 3 year warranty.Some reviewers said the cover was stiff and especially so when it was cold out. It sounds like they were commenting on the old style cover. Just not the same as the newer one.Other reviewers were puzzled by the bag that the cover came in. Cut it off and use it for anything you want. It has no special use.I have one minor complaint and it may work itself out with use. The velcro straps were severely twisted and creased. It made it difficult to press the two halves together. The entire cover was folded so neatly it's hard to see how the straps were so poorly wrapped. But like I said I think they will smooth out with a bit of use.Good price and arrived a day early. If you need a cover this is the one to get.Some reviewers were puzzled by the bag that the cover came in. Cut it off and use it for anything you want. It has no special use.

Fits great. 100% waterproof Velcro straps cinches the cover below the grill top but it would be better if it also had a bungee string at the bottom of the cover to keep it tight. The Velcro straps alone can’t withstand strong wind (50+mph) gusts as I recently discovered. I think cinching the bottom edge would prevent that.

I bought this new cover to replace the old cover I’ve had on my grill for almost 20years. The old cover was exposed to the California desert winds and sunshine every day. The quality of this new cover equals or exceeds the quality of my old cover. I have no doubt this new cover will last me another twenty years.
