It's a pretty sink when it first goes in, that's for sure. Here's the problem: The bottom is too flat (even with the creasing you see in the photo), so the water doesn't drain strongly enough to clear the drain into the disposal. It pools because of the clogging, and you have to shove your hand through the rubber disposal stopper to get it to drain. I even tried cutting some rubber off the disposal stopper, which helped only a little. So cleaning the dishes gets very messy. Also, the 90 degree square sides and corners makes cleanup a bit difficult as well, requiring you to use the spray attachment to try to coax debris away from the edges. If I had it to do over again, I would buy a sink with rounded edges and a more sloped bottom for stronger drainage. It'll show nice when you try to sell your house, though!

Looks beautiful, not installed yet

Pretty sink at first, but after 1-1/2 years I left a sponge in it over a weekend when I was gone and now there is a STAIN of the sponge that will not come out whatever I do. So my lovely sink now has a sponge-print in it. Also it is very difficult to get water spots out of it, and we don't have hard water. I am not really happy with the way it drains, either, and it scratches easily. Am planning to replace it with a Kohler.

What a great sink! We bought this directly through BAI, but initially found BAI through Amazon. It really is a wonderful, high quality sink. It was tough to find a sink of this shape and depth to fit into a 30" cabinet base, but this was perfect. It is mounted on granite countertops and we purchased this pebble mat to use as a sink mat (even though it's a bath tub mat.
