9X6X3 Extreme Broadband Heavy Duty Weatherproof Multi Purpose Enclosure IPE963-LTC

I am a residential user and needed a weatherproof outdoor electrical box to house a TP-Link Deco M5 mesh node for mounting outside (under an overhang). This does the job well- and appears well constructed. Its a solid feeling unit composed of a thick layer of plastic - but still is light in weight. The hinge opens smoothly and latch closes tight. Lots of access points at the bottom (covered in dense foam for moisture control) for wires, along with punch outs at the back which you can drill through and customize for attachment needs. It fits the round Deco M5 (I glued velcro to the box and secured the M5 with it) and a thin 3 outlet extension cord which I also hot-glued inside. In addition, the box also fits the two power blocks; for the M5 wifi and for a security camera. I am mounting it today and will update if needed.

My old cable box became brittle and the door hinge broke. This is a good, sturdy box. It doesn't have a rubber door seal, but the way it's designed, I don't think it needs one. There are slots inside for screws to make it easy to mount stuff, like a cable feedthru. Apparently the mounting holes on these boxes is standardized because the hole spacing in the new box is the same as the old one, which saved me from drilling more holes. It made for a quick, easy install.

Their is no gasket. The lips do overlap in a way that will be sufficient to keep water out. Butttt i did add my own gasket just for the peace of mind, usied some screen porch liner. Overall its a good price and it has a good sturdy feel to it, i just wish it had a proper gasket really. The foam is ok to be used as a way to make cable running to and from it easier then normal, butttt it will wear out. Such is the nature of foam.

I needed this box to use as a junction box to move the location of an irrigation controller. The controller wires will be sliced to a new run of control wire using terminal steps mounted inside of this box. The design of this box makes this the perfect solution. It is WELL MADE and Iike the wire inlets at the bottom that allows the control wires to be rooted in and out and keeping “bugs” OUT! Great price and fast service from the Seller as well...

This enclosure is exactly what I was looking for to replace the old, deteriorating enclosure that was original to my house. I was looking for something at a price point that wasn't going to be a money-waster, while also not suffering on quality. This enclosure nailed it... I had a pretty tight spot to work with, but was able to mount the enclosure with no issues and consolidate my cabling down to a single grounding block and single coax line. I was even able to leave a bit of a drip loop in place by mounting my grounding block (ASIN: B07W3S1MQ2), low-and-to-the-side of the box, and bring the coax around (as pictured). The weatherproofing seems very good and the enclosure snaps firmly closed, but easy enough to access. Great mounting points all around and I can see this lasting for a long, long time.

I bought a bunch of boxes for a product that I’m coming up with. This one is by FAR the best! It solid, waterproof and tough. It also looks great. I love the little padded slats on the bottom of the box. In my case I was easily able to wrap wires in and between those slats just to make things later check out the picture. Anyway thank you for a wonderful product

I used this box for running ethernet cables from the inside to outside of the house. Mounted the box outside and ran a PVC pipe through the wall (inside to outside) into the back of the box (where the conduit knockout is). Now I can easily run more cables through the wall (e.g. for more security cameras) without tearing open the wall again. The box is sturdy and seems to seal very well. I installed it under an overhang so I can't speak to how weather proof it is.

This is the ideal size for a Bobcat 300 Helium Miner. Use POE to feed power to the miner and you can place it close to the antenna with very little cable loss. Has worked for months in the winter with no issues. I would suggest no direct sunlight or the miner may overheat and stop mining. UPDATE: You will need to add ventilation to this box to keep temperatures within Bobcat 300 specs. I added a couple of Boxco BC-AG-V60 60mm vents, a 60mm box fan and some power splitters to power the fan.

I used the product to manage plug in heating cables for icing on roof.

Purchased this unit in house a sensecap M1 unit. the unit is perfect for the application and has worked through our hard winter.

I love this product. I use it for my home made weather stations and it's been through many storms. 100% waterproof! 10/10

I'm using this to house a raspberry pi that I have set up to control some sensors in my yard. The housing seems strong and all the plugs I require are sealed and were easy to thread in and out of the box.

This is a great box. I'm using mine to house the power supply to my Starlink dishy system.
