Greek Fire: The Story of Maria Callas and Aristotle Onassis Hardcover – 1 Oct. 2000

This is a great book. I have read it several times and recently bought a copy for a friend who loved it too. It is iinteresting and also sad as these two people were made for each other but a few stupid moves spoilt everything. I would definely recommend it. While I am here Amazon used to have a "contact us" button which I can no longer find. I would like to ask why posting and packaging advertised at £2.80 of second hand books is constantly charged at £4.02p

Well wat can I tell you about the book!!! I can’t because I haven’t read it yet!!! But I can tell you that for the Greek’s she was wat we wanted to be!!! ( I am half Greek and I have the book and I will read it) so buy the book you want be sorry!!! Monique Duliere

Slice of two peoples life who I knew nothing about tragic but compelling

I couldn't put this book down... kept allowing myself 'just one more chapter' even though I had other things to do. I'd already read Aristotle's biography and seen the recent Maria Callas programme on BBC so I had background knowledge. This book brought everything together in a way that captures the attention and keeps it until the last page. Am searching for a biography of his first wife Athina Livanos Onassis Niarchos but without success so far :(

Excellently written. The only good biography I have read on the couple. A sad story though.This was bought second hand but was in excellent condition.
