It's as effective as Febreeze but significantly more cost effective. The smell is fresh and pleasant. Strong enough for most uses but not overpowering like Odoban. May not be useful for the strongest of smells but fine for general use.

I bought this Zep Air & Fabric Odor Eliminator because I have dogs and wanted to get away from using plug-ins. I absolutely love the smell—it’s clean and fresh without being overpowering. One of my favorite ways to use it is when I put in a new HVAC filter: I spray the filter lightly, let it fully dry, and then when the A/C or heater runs, the air coming out smells noticeably cleaner. I use this daily on my couch, rugs, dog bedding, car, and even my bed. The bottle is a great size, so it lasts, and I’ve honestly started keeping a spray bottle in every room filled with this stuff. This is definitely a staple I’ll be using for years.

Product smells fresh. I used a spray bottle and sprayed the carpet directly. 24 hours later the fragrance is still there. A little goes a long way.
