while installing these, I found that both had mechanical failures. The black sleeve was loose from the housing. There is a serious engineering design flaw in these lamps. They will all fail with any vibration at all. there is nothing to hold the black sleeve onto the base lamp. once loose, the lamp is free to back out of the reflector housing.
