These adapters go over the damaged RJ45 clips which usually are a broken clip lever. These extend above the RJ45 and will not fit in the female side of the connection. They are rubbish! I do not know how someone can be so stupid to produce these useless adapters! This is pure robbery!

These Repair clips for RJ45, ( Ethernet cable ), are just perfect for a simple repair, instead of replacing an entire cable.Some of my Ethernet cables are 100 feet long, for a Home security Camera system.They are the easiest way to repair the cable in seconds!!!

I would like these more if they were less expensive but they did stop my Ethernet cable from unplugging accidentally from the computer.

Works on repairing Cat 5 Connectors

They seem to work very well. They fit tightly over the plug, and seem to be well made.

I had a network cable going into a router, it would not stop in because the small plastic protrusion, thats holds it in place had nearly snapped off. The cable had been routed under the floorboards, this clip fixed the problem and saved me lifting the floorboards. No problems with the clip but I wished they sold it in smaller, cheaper packs

This is a great invention and solves the problem of clips breaking on Cat 5 cables simply.

Whoever designed the original ethernet plug clip needs a stern talking to.As for these repair clips = when they fit they are great - a real life saver. Unfortunately of the 4 broken plugs I'd at home they only fit two of them.
